Calypso Resort is in an ideal location, just across from the Pier Park, and next door to the pier. Whether you would like to try your hand at catching dinner, catch a movie, or do some shopping - you are only steps away from some of the area's best shopping, dining, and entertainment. Issues we dealt with

Overall the condo was okay great location. The air did not work sent email about it and never received a response. The room stayed on 77 degrees. The front door latch was broken and the sliding glass door to balcony was extremely hard to open. We love the Calypso and have been staying there for years but will not book this unit again.

awesome vacation and property

this was a great property for my daughter and i to spend a father daughter vacation before she goes to college. great view of the ocean and saw some sea turtles one day and a Mantatee as well and the occasional dolphin it was much needed for both of us. thanks

Beds and cleanliness

When we arrived we found that the bedding was not clean. There were stains and sand in and on all of the beds. The king bed in the bedroom was very uncomfortable and caves in. I could not sleep in it as it hurt my back from the sagging. The couch had stains and the cooking pans were all nonstick and scrapped so they were unsafe to use. The family had a hard time feeling at home and every night of our 6 night stay we did not sleep well.

Great stay

Overall the stay was great. The communication and check in process was perfect. Just the right amount of communication to make sure we knew what to expect and the check in process was as simple as punching in the door code to walk in. The property was clean and comfortable. The only constructive criticism I’d provide is that the mattress in the bedroom is not very comfortable and and a little sagging. I’d suggest replacing soon.

Mattresses are IMPORTANT!

Master mattress should have been replaced at LEAST 1 year ago! Pullout mattress paper thin. Master bath didn’t drain. Handyman sent never arrived. Location directly across from Pier Park. Beach needed to be raked/cleaned.

Lovely place to stay

My boyfriend and I stayed for a week and it was so cozy and beautiful. We didn’t mind being on a higher floor for the most part. They provide a ton of stuff like kitchen utensils, TP, towels. We found chairs in the closet and we added a boogey board to the collection for future guests. Location is so close to everything you could want to do while visiting. The trip even offers free or heavily discounted excursions like sailing, snorkeling, visiting marine world, etc. i would definitely come back!

Beach getaway

This property was amazing would definitely stay here again. The only complaint honestly was the mattress in the bedroom. It needs replaced it’s very uncomfortable and maybe add a couple extra pillows. But overall we were very pleased. View was great, condo was very clean and neat. Anyone looking for an amazing getaway stay here!

Calypso Stay in PCB

We Stayed at the Calypso In Panama City Beach Florida. We stayed in the east tower in 1807 which was overlooking the beach. It was a very nice unit, plenty of room and was very clean. All we needed was there. You have to use a sent PDF barcode for the parking deck and for what ever reason it wouldn't work, I made a phone call to Kelly Phillips. She was absolutely fantastic. she lives local and was even willing to drive to the condo and bring me a new printed copy of a new parking pass. I was blown away! Over and above. I will seek out ITrip from now on! in this day and age of craziness, These are the kind of people I want to do business with! Thanks Kelly you have a customer for life!

Great place to rent.

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful view! Great location. Clean and nicely decorated. We had trouble getting our parking pass. The e-mail wasn’t getting to us. Would like easier parking for short term visitors. The mattress on the bed could be updated. Overall happy with our condo. Already reserved for next year.

Enjoyed our family vacation at Calypso Resort

The property was as described and fit our family of 4 perfectly. It was disappointing to arrive an hour after the required check-in time and find that the given code did not work. We called the given number and were only allowed to leave messages and we left several. Finally, 30 minutes after standing outside with an upset and lively toddler and all of our luggage, we received a text message with a different code to enter the condo. Also, the unit's floors needed to be cleaned much better. We got the broom and dustpan and swept up a lot of sand and debris from the wood floors all over the unit. We also attempted to use the vacuum on the rug but the vacuum didn't function properly and spit out a lot of junk from the backside so we ceased using it immediately and sent a text about getting a working vacuum with no reply.

This was a great location!!! The property was clean. I would suggest purchasing a new mattress. The center of the mattress is sunken in/ wore out and very uncomfortable if you have any back problems.

Not so great

We have stayed several places in PCB and always had a nice condo. We appreciate attentive owners or management companies. We have never needed to call either . First issue was no top sheet on the master king bed. We found a queen sheet and used that. Bed was soft and far from new. It had a thin stained quilt only. But it smelled clean. On the second day we called about the ice maker not working. We were grateful we were brought ice. We made management aware that there were no arm bands for the pool in the condo. Was told they would need to get them from the condo association on Monday. We never got them and felt uncomfortable when we got in the pool. The next day we noticed there was not even ONE extra blanket of any kind in the condo. After sending an email with no reply,I sent a text requesting an extra blanket. Husband is always cold at night so… we had to use the extra sheets and a twin quilt from the bunk beds. Even the bottom sheet kept coming off the corners of the bed.Very cheap linens used in this condo. When we went to use the washer and dryer ,both were coated with thick sand. I spent a half hour cleaning them. The balcony had piles of sand we swept up on the first day. Location and view from condo was very good. Not looking for perfect everything but we paid NOT expecting to just “make do”. Will not stay here again because of bed and linen issues . Lack of return call or text for assistance from management made this condo … Not so great.

Amazing family vacation!!

We were right on the beach with a stunning view of the ocean. The kids have never seen it before and if we weren't at the beach we were on our balcony. We were close enough to everything and had the most fun we've had in as long as I can remember. I DONT WANT TO GO HOME!! lol

Great Place to stay!
