This incredible home is situated on a quiet cul-de-sac just a short distance to the beach, tennis and basketball courts, fitness center (w/fee), and two community pools. Your own private pool (16'x32') for more pleasure! It's close to the horse and wildlife sanctuary, the quaint Corolla Village with shops and restaurants, The Whalehead Club, and the famous Corolla Lighthouse. In fact, you can see the Lighthouse from almost every room in the house! Art work, and tons of games for both inside and outside! You will love the quiet feel of the Villages at Ocean Hill, but will also love its accessibility to so much the Outer Banks has to offer. Great Vacation!

No sign of it being a pet friendly house. Enjoyed the bicycles. It was close to the beach entrance to drive out on the beach. We got to see the beautiful horses.We were close to a number of great restaurants too. I would love to go back to the same house!

Relaxing vacation with family

House was pretty nice. Not far from the beach, and comes with parking right on the beach maybe a minute drive away. Pool was amazing. Def the hit of the weekend. Corolla for us is kind of distant from where we prefer, but that’s personal opinion. House had a few minor issues upon arriving, but after a call, was fixed inside of 24 hours. Was clean enough, but far from sparkling clean. Didn’t like the fact I got an email after passing the Duck reality location, saying to come back and grab the parking passes. Mind you, on arrival day with traffic, that can be an hour and a half endeavor to do. That email should be a day earlier so a customer can be aware to grab those passes before getting all the way up to Corolla. We would rent that house again.

Mahalo home

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Waited until 6 PM to get into the rental, only to find a very unclean home with air conditioning not working. The house was 82-86 degrees the first two days. Countertops, flooring and carpeting were definitely not cleaned prior to arrival. The dryer does not dry a load of laundry for 5-6 hours. There were NO dish towels, toilet paper, palate towels, hand soap. We washed all the dishes, pots and pans, silverware and glassware prior to use as many of it all were not clean. The sheets on the beds were questionable of being appropriately washed, the comforters definitely not. I have rented many vacation homes over the years since all my adult children were youngsters. This home was by far the worst rental ever. I would never stay in this home again nor would I recommend it to anyone. Honestly not worth the cost.

Rental review

We had a good time except the air conditioner on the 2nd floor stop working on our first night They had to put window AC in our room and the living room on Sunday and then the AC on the main floor stopped working and they had to put window AC on the 3 rooms… the person who spoke with my husband told him that the AC was scheduled to be replaced… this should have been done before we came especially since this was a very expensive rental… also hated the carpet, it looked dirty …… they should just change it to hardwood …

Kitchen well appointed with literally everything you could need. Pool is large and patio area is very nice. The neighborhood was quiet and well maintained and a short walk to the beach. The only negative was the dryer was not working properly and we discovered towards the end of the week that the vent leading out of the house was cram packed with lint, so potential fire hazard there. It could have been a little cleaner over all, smudged windows and dusty baseboards in the kitchen. But really not too bad.

The pool and hot tub were very enjoyable and clean. No complaints at all from anyone. It was a fine walk to the beach or a really short drive to beach parking - depending on your preference and how much stuff you were toting. Would definitely stay again!

We would do it again. Our family especially enjoyed the house being fully furnished, and clean. Family consisted of three children and spoused ages from 54 to 63, plus my wife and me ages 80 and 83. If we do it again next year it will be with an elevator..

Just "ok"...

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have been to this place before with family and it was great. I don't know what happened over 2 years but when we first got there, shaving razors were laying on the back patio. The downstairs door to the carport would not latch. There were multiple lights out in the house. The front door knob was about to fall off.. We arrived there around 3:45 and the inspector just got done and said to go to the realty company and pick up the key so I did and the guy at the front was very rude and said she was the pool lady and the inspector wasn't there yet. I said no, she was the inspector and he said no she was the pool lady. We will call when it's ready. So I leave. It's after 4pm check in time and 5 mins down the road he called and said its ready. He was very unprofessional. The place was ok. The pool, hot tub, and location are nice. But if you're paying good money, you expect a top notch place.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Two toilets were not cleaned at all. Table tops and countertops were dirty. Carpet was not cleaned in several areas. Screens were broken. Dirty dishes in the dishwasher. I was unable to reach anyone by phone at check in. The cleaners came the next day, but we had cleaned most everything ourselves. The vacuum cleaner didn't work sufficiently. Lots of cobwebs. The facility simply needs to be cleaned and the weekly time allotted between rentals is insufficient. For the amount of money we spent on the rental AND the cleaning fee, I expected much more.Pictures of the property are dated. It's a nice location...a short walk to the beach.

The only thing was from the pictures it looks like access to the beach is right near the home, unfortunately, you need to leave the development, cross the street and walk through another development before getting to the beach. You could walk if you didn't need to take anything with you but if you had stuff to take, you needed to drive. Location was nice, just due to traffic it took longer to get places. Was over all a nice stay.

Family Vacation

We loved 🥰 being together and this house met all of our needs…. Loved each bedroom with own baths. The distance to the beach was better than expected and having pass for car was great.. Now there are a few things you may want to correct….. the refrigerator downstairs did not get very cold. The dryer took a long time to dry even with lint removed…. Would stay again but really recommend leaving by 6 am or sooner on your day of departure!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a wonderful stay in late May, thanks to flexibility on the part of the owners and Beach Realty in moving us forward from 2020. Our house was beautiful and well taken care of. We had a minor maintenance issue which was fixed within 24 hours and with good communication. The house was in a great location with respect to the beach, but still sufficiently private, and the neighborhood is quiet. This is in no way a negative, but a general note for OBX returners that check in times are a little later than they used to be due to extra cleaning; we were cleared to enter around 5:30. Overall, would highly recommend for a suburban-type relaxing beach vacation.
