Luana Garden Villas is the final phase of Honua Kai Resort and Spa, located on the stunning Kaanapali Beach on Maui’s western shores, and steps from everything west Maui has to offer.

This luxurious villa is located within the 38 family-friendly acres of the Honua Kai Resort and Spa, designed with relaxation and memory-making in mind, offering guests an unmatched resort experience while proving residential living at its finest. This villa boasts over 2000 sq.ft of contemporary interior living space with expansive western windows that open up to a wide lanai, providing your family with plenty of room to enjoy the Maui lifestyle.

Spend your days at your enclave’s private pool and hot-tub located amongst the luxurious Hawaiian gardens or take a very short stroll to the world famous Kaanapali beach, or aquatic playgrounds of the Honua Kai resort. Experience world class dining, shopping and golf within minutes leaving your villa by visiting Whaler’s village and the Kaanapali and Kapalua golf courses.

This top floor villa will provide you with the privacy to relax in your lanai while enjoying the views of your garden enclave. The residence is fully furnished with everything you need for a luxurious Maui vacation and a gourmet kitchen to prepare your favorite family meals. The Lanai is equipped with an outdoor kitchen and BBQ and plenty of lounging and dining space for the entire family. The residence also includes a private garage and an ensuite full size washer and dryer.

Resort amenities include a network of swimming pools, waterfalls and children shallow pool, 24 hour fitness facility and front desk, Duke’s beach house restaurant, and Whaler’s general store.

TAX
The State of Hawaii mandates a total tax of 17.962%. Excise tax is 4.172% and Transient Tax is 13.25% to be paid on all transient accommodations. Taxes are identified on the reservation confirmation (Subject to change). (The higher rate of 17.962% applies to all departures starting 1/1/2024 regardless of when the property was booked.

Taxes are paid to the state of Hawaii and County of Maui based on the guest’s dates of stay. Any changes to the current tax rate will be charged or refunded to the guests depending on the increase or decrease.

OCCUPANCY:
Additional Guests of any age (infants and toddlers included) are strictly prohibited without prior approval. If approved, a fee of $100+tax per day will be added to the reservation for each additional guest.

For a family to have a home on a resort with a garage for paddle boards and gear. Hard to beat.

We would wake up work out, grab breakfast, gear up and head out to a beach to paddle board for a few hours. We would be back at the Vrbo to shower and grab dinner. Again return to the Vrbo and allow the kids to go swim or play games. The indoor outdoor patio w/ sliding doors were incredible. The pool for kids to play in during the later hours within 100' of your outdoor patio was great. This allowed kids to play while parents could relax a bit. Having a garage for gear and keep the vehicle cool was basically like having a home away from home. Not exactly economical but, Memories are Priceless. I would do it again.

AMAZING FAMILY GETAWAY!

Perfect place for families traveling with kids! Easy walk to Duke’s and the beach, wonderful layout with two large master suites and huge lanai with a view of the nearby pool. Will easily book again when we come back to Maui!

Perfect Maui vacation home

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place for our week in Maui. The villa was large, spotlessly clean, and well stocked for anything we needed. We loved how close it was to the resort pools and the ocean - perfect for our little kids. It was nice and quiet at night. Communication with the host was always prompt. We would return here again!

Best location in Maui

We have stayed in many places, but this resort is amazing! They take care of every item you will need. The location is perfect! The amenities are fabulous. Kid friendly and quiet! Many amazing things to do and see.

Perfect for Families

This villa was an amazing location—close to main pools/amenities but had its own pool area. There was beach towels, cart, cooler, boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs, baby floatie, and donut floatie. Everything you needed to enjoy a perfect vacation at the beach.

Holidays on Maui

We had a fabulous stay in Kaanapali. The Villa's contemporary style and space worked well for us. The Kitchen is well equipped providing everything we needed. We used the location to explore Maui or simply chill out by the beach/pool. The communication with the property manager was efficient and easy. We will come back, Thank you!

Lovely condo!

We really enjoyed our family vacation at this condo. We loved that we had easy access to pools and the beach! The condo itself is designed well and we loved spending time in the condo and the Luana! Roshy was quick to respond to all our questions about the condo. We would love to come back to stay here on our next visit!

Beautiful property

We traveled with 2 families each with one 13 year old. This unit was better than described and larger than pictured. We could watch the boys in the pool which was not overcrowded and very nice. It was just a short walk to the beach and the main hotel with the spa, and general store where right there as well as a full grocery store across the street. Roshy was fantastic and very responsive. We all had a fabulous stay!! Don't hesitate to book!

Awesome condo

Far exceeded our expectations for our family of 6. The place is even better in person than the pics. Loved the location (short walk to beach, easy to keep an eye on kids at pool from the lanai). Easy, dedicated parking. Great open floor plan with huge lanai, high-end appliances, and very comfortable beds. Have already recommended this place to a friend and will definitely return.

Wonderful space

We stayed here for 10 nights and it was everything we were looking for. We usually opt for the Honua Kai properties but with the state opening up, we knew the towers would be busy and busy they were! Pools were constantly packed and you would be lucky to nab a chair in the morning. The villas gave us much needed calm, seclusion and privacy we were seeking. The semi-private pools were rarely full - either empty or 1 or 2 other parties. This will also depend on the occupants staying at the villas because for the first 75% of our trip, this was our experience. The last few days, larger families checked-in which made it busier but you can still find your quiet times. I do say "semi" because I did notice and talk to Honua Kai residents finding their way into the private pools. The HKCA should find a way to prevent wider abuse of this. The villa itself was amazing. We loved how spacious everything was with comfy pillows and beds and an AMAZING lanai with a super high BTU grill. (Much better than the Honua Kai grills) Being in the 18 Villa set also means your proximity to Times Supermarket, the food trucks, ABC store, L&L BBQ is within walking distance which is amazing. My only complaints are that the WIFI is quite weak (down speeds around 25-40mbs which you can still run Zoom calls on but not 720p YT videos) and will not reach the outer bedrooms. Also, for some reason, our wristbands did not work on the towel stations. Other standard amenities like beach toys and pack n play were not available. These are minor things that did not take away from our amazing stay at this villa. Already thinking about when we should return!

Amazing home & amenities!

We had two families stay here and it was perfect for our vacation! It was so nice to have the private pool outside our lanai but still have access to the bigger pools at the resort (which were much busier!) The home itself was beautiful and the beds were really comfortable. Would 100% stay here again!

Perfect Vacation Home 18D

This beautiful spacious apartment turned out to be better than we expected and every way. Very well designed and everything of the highest quality with three balconies everyone could find a quiet spot when they wanted, yet the spacious open plan family area had lots of space for everyone to be comfortably together even when at full capacity. The location was ideal, overlooking the pool so easy to watch family playing from the balcony, but being slightly offset and elevated we had more privacy then any of the other apartments. This apartment is also closest one to the beach with easy access through the hotel lobby and pool area, which is an ideal stopping point to wash sandy feet, or pick up a cocktail on the way to the beach. Cooking was fun and easy with the kitchen having many appliances and a supermarket within walking distance, additionally there are restaurants at the hotel and great food trucks just off of the hotel complex. Cant wait to come back to 18D!
