Spring Break

The property was just what we were looking for. Nice and quiet and there was plenty in the cabin for teenagers to do!

Amazing

It was secluded. Other then the dogs barking and roosters crowing it was quiet. But the roosters were entertaining, they'd crow and one of us would yell and tell them to shut up. The cabin is beautiful, the road getting the cabin is is narrow and has some sharp turns, but if you went slow enough it was fine.

Beautiful view with a tricky ride in

Check in was flawless and the communication was excellent with quick response time. The cabin was spacious enough with seven of us. It was one of the best stocked kitchens as far as dishes, cookware and utensils. The view was very picturesque from the top landing, and the hot tub was enjoyed after a long day in town sightseeing. A bit of a tricky ride into it.

Girls Trip

Cabin was as advertised. Fully stocked and quite, oh and the game room was great. Only hiccup was the living room fireplace. The on switchs (there are 2) are in the bottom right corner not the top as instructions say. Once we figured that out it worked great. We were glad we had smaller 4x4 SUVs as roads to cabin are very narrow, curvy and steep in places. Those 90 degree turns on a hill will get you but it is something you should expect if book on a mountain in the woods.

4wd a must! Beds are horrible!

We travel a lot and I believe this was the worst cabin we have ever stayed in. First of all the listing says 4wd during the winter months is recommended however my daughters front wheel drive car had a lot of trouble. Next the listing does not mention the amount of stairs to get inside the cabin. If you have anyone in your party that has trouble with stairs do not rent this cabin. Not only does it have a lot of stairs, the wood is rotted in several places and is very weak. The shower in the back bedroom floods the floor and appears to have mold around the bottom. Next, the beds. We picked this cabin because it had 3 king size beds. However these beds were a foam mattress on a piece of plywood!! The pullout couch was more comfortable than this! I received an email asking about our stay the day before we left and I replied with all of this and have not received anything back.. I really hate to leave a bad review but I feel like some of these things need to be addressed.

Secluded but beautiful!

The stay was great. There were a few snags. It is listed as a 5 bedroom, technically it was 3 with a living room and a game room with couches and futons. The house is beautiful and the view is amazing! Working with the owners was very easy. They were very responsive. There are a couple of rotten boards on the deck. The driveway was tough to get up, due to a washout, but with all the rain I’m sure they got it is understandable. In all, we really had a great vacation and I would stay there again for sure!

Tranquil Retreat with Breathtaking Views and Hot Tub Relaxation

I absolutely adored the secluded area and the sense of tranquility it provided. There were numerous activities and attractions within a short 15-20 minute drive. The breathtaking view and peaceful atmosphere of the place were truly remarkable, and we particularly relished our time in the hot tub.

Cabin rental

The cabin was excellent, the driveway was horrible, we couldn't hardly get up it due to loose gravel and it being so stoop, and the loose gravel make us slide into the ditch at the end of the driveway.

Great Stay For A Long Weekend

The drive in was beautiful, but definitely recommend a 4WD vehicle to get up the driveway. Host was attentive, and the inside of the home was beautiful. The best kitchen of any VRBO I’ve ever stayed at, and there was plenty to do for the little kids. Overall very good!

Cabin 2024 family vacation

Inside of cabin was warm and inviting, game room was a hit with the 3 teenager grandchildren and 7 years old grandson. All of the amenities provided was excellent, air fryers was awesome to have, washer and dryer really came in handy. Parking was a bit tight, but we made it work. The flower bed was unkept, trash inside the flower bed,it appears spider webs hadnt been swept down in weeks on the porch and stair areas. We could not take advantage of the firepit/bbq grill area, due to it being overgrown with grass. We totally understood that we are in a cabin in the woods,we just expected the immediate area surrounding the cabin to be more user friendly. The shower knob in master bedroom would come off in your hand from time to time, also the doorstop in MB came off often. We could not find the light switch for the laundry room, nor for the three track light over the stove.Dirty clothes from the previous guest was left under the bed in MB.Kitchen trash can lid was broke, ice maker in freezer did not make ice,in the MB the side of bed next to the shower, the wooden board had slipped down.As we were away from the cabin every morning,we did not reach out to management, and none of these issued hindered our stay, just things we noticed thru out our 6night/7day stay.Overall we had a good vacation and would rent Le Conte Cabin again.

Fam vaca

Inside was nice but no air in the back bedroom and game room. Called the host, never showed up. No smoke detectors. We had 9 people in our group and we accumulated a lot of trash. Garbage bins did not hold all of the garbage for 5 days. No direction on what to do with it. We left extra garbage bagged in the laundry room. Firepit area needed mowed. Couldn't sit back there. The grill was not usable. Wouldn't stay here again. .

Beautiful View!

The view at the property was fantastic. The house was beautiful overall. It had three actual bedrooms, futon in the living room, and pullout couch in the game room, A sheet would Have been great for the pullout- but there was an extra blanket. It was a well stocked home with soap, towels, linens, and toilet paper. The garbage can and speaker were, and we couldn’t find a broom to sweep. The only thing we had a difficult time with was the driveway. We have a new van- and it got stuck going up on a few occasions, possibly even a partial pave of the driveway would be good. House was in a great location- 20-30 min away from everything!

7 in Cabin Haven

Stayed w/a group of 7. 3 couples and 1 single on the main futon. Hot tub peaked at 103 degrees. Nice and removed w/easy access to PF and GB. Top of driveway was tight w/3 vehicles a new F150, durango, and older extended bed plus crew cab ram 250. One was backing down in the mornings. Driveway is gravel and steep. Would not recommend for sports cars or anything to low. We brought extra personal fans which came in handy for couple staying in new addition back bedroom as the hvac doesn't hit that area as well. Open window at night plus fans worked out for them. Futon in main living room worked better for the single over the game room pull out couch. Hot water ran out quick by second to third wanting to shower so we spaced it out and coordinated. Would recommend bringing extra towels to dry off from hot tub so you are not using shower towels. 2 bedrooms have private bathrooms and then 1 bedroom plus guests staying in living area can share the hall bathroom. Main bedroom up front has an awesome shower plus a private lou area. At the time of our stay the pull cord for the fan/light in the main front bedroom was missing so we loosened the light bulbs to keep the fan on at night. No biggie just be aware if not fixed before you arive. In that same bedroom be careful with the shower handle as the set screw is missing and it will fall off. Only other issues we found was a small amount of mold in the coffee pot and keriug from water left and burnt plastic stuff on the stove. Cabin worked

Excellent getaway location to enjoy family time!

Overall it was excellent they had several fun things at the property like the game table and air hockey and shuffle board table. It was unfortunate that the electric went out while we were there for the evening and most of the next day (which also meant no water) but we still made the most of it and got to spend great quality time with the family. Only thing I would say I wish they had was more towels, and dishwasher detergent. Mainly because of using them often with the hottub and for showers plus having 7 people there for the week. uiet and peaceful with a great viewing deck. I loved those hanging swings. Thank you for letting us stay and hope to be back soon.

Le Conte mountain cabin

The cabin was absolutely beautiful. The driveway was a little rough but not bad. The fooseball table leg was broken but i notified the manager and they were very apologetic. The pullout couch was a little wonky to pull out. Again notified manager and they were very apologetic. They offered us to stay another night at a discount and we took the offer. The attraction tickets that came with the cabin was very easy to use and a wonderful experience. The overall stay was wonderful. Very peaceful & quiet. Very Homie feeling. Will be using mountain cabin rentals in the future.
