Peaceful Cabin.
If you are looking for a quiet cabin on the quiet side of Acadia, this is it. We enjoyed the location to hiking and biking in Acadia National Park. It is convenient to great restaurants as well. We rented bikes in town at Southwest Cyclery with Bob and Charlie. They were wonderful! The cabin is well equipped to have your meals there as well. The porch for morning coffee and the side deck for afternoon relaxing were perfect additions. You will be very happy if you choose to stay here. The neighborhood deer are a bonus.

Perfect Cabin Getaway
This cabin was perfect for my wife and I! Very clean, well thought out, and quiet. Close enough to Acadia and towns to find plenty to do, but far enough away to have a quiet night in. Beautiful location with easy access to some great hikes. Amy was a great host! Communicative, helpful, and made the whole process easy.

The quiet side of Acadia
A stunningly clean and tidy 1BR in the woods. Our host, Amy, took care of all the details even to the point of bringing by emergency lanterns when the remains of a tropical storm blew in our last day. Easy to get around to hiking and food spots by car.

Just far enough away…
We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is located on a quite little road nestled in the woods with deer frequently seen. It was very nice and comfortable. It is near the town of Southeast Harbor which has nice restaurants and shops without the bustle of Bar Harbor. Also Charlotte’s Lobster Pound is 3 minutes away. We did a lot of hiking in Acadia and the longest drive we had was about 40 minutes. We didn’t want to leave.

gateway to Acadia
The cabin was very well appointed, It had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. If you don't mind a litlle drive each day to get to the "busy spots of Acadia" then it is wonderful. You will need a car. Overall a great little getaway in a comfortable cabin on the quiet side of Acadia.

Pretty as the Pictures
The cabin was just like the pictures. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water as promised. We cooked a couple of nights, and the kitchen was well-equipped. This was our first trip to Acadia, and we were so glad we chose this location, known as the quiet side. There are a few shops to visit in Southwest Harbor and a decent grocery store. If you want to relax after a day of hiking, this is the place!

Perfect getaway
We stayed 5 nights. Quiet and relaxing away from the bustle of Bar Harbor . Easy access to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Nicely appointed cottage with good assortment of kitchen items. The camp store around the corner sells fresh lobsters and there are several good food establishments in close proximity. The cottage is private from the neighbors.

Brand new cute cabin on the Quiet Side of the island.
The cabin was brand new, and came equipped with all the amenities we needed for a long weekend in Acadia. The location was on the Quiet Side of the island, and was perfect for getting away from the busy towns. The owners made the check-in process and orientation simple and easy for our arrival.

A Beautiful, Clean, Airy Seawall Cabin
My partner and I loved our stay at this cabin! Everything was as listed/advertised. Navigating to the cabin wasn't a problem with Google Maps. Well-lit sign posts made turning into the correct cabin parking lot a breeze. Checking in was very simple. Amy was an excellent host and communication was always quickly returned when needed. My favorite features of the cabin were the outdoor patio (which made astrophotography a fun, comfortable nighttime experience), the beautiful butcher block style countertops, well-equipped and clean kitchen, and the incredible, fresh air that can be enjoyed with the windows open. The included portable AC unit was rarely needed with the cooler outdoor temperatures during our stay. I would highly recommend this cabin to any traveling spouses/partners or solo adventurers - you won't be disappointed. 😁

I want to go back!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I especially enjoyed the cooler temperatures being so close to the southwest harbor seawall and the cabin’s peaceful location, away from crowds and off the beaten path. The house is well appointed with appliances and kitchen wear. Just bring your favorite foods to cook inside or use the outdoor grill. We liked sitting on the front porch with our morning cup of coffee, relaxing on the couch after a day in town, and seeing the neighbor’s kids (the deer). We didn’t use the side sun deck but enjoyed hearing the water feature and seeing the lights on the fountain in the evening. All I can say is that I want to go back!
