My partner, dogs and I really enjoyed our stay. We lounged around, read books, threw balls and watched Tv. The host is super communicative and the cabin is so cute. The host did a great job of stocking it with a few snacks, condiments, water and coffee. The cabin has a doggie dog that a few of my pups figured out and loved. The yard is a good size but not huge. There’s a cute dog cabin. I will say, the yard and driveway get muddddyyyy and they didn’t have mud towels. I am so happy we brought 4 of our own so take heed and do that too. We loved the rustic charm and the remoteness. Oh, and that fireplace!!!! Amazing. We’d love to come back in the summer to enjoy the trails and bonfire.
The cabin was charming, had everything we needed. Accurate information on listing. Perfectly clean and inviting, not to mention a great nights sleep, we will be staying again.
This was a great property. Very clean, dog friendly, quiet, easy to get into, very responsive owner and stocked nicely with plenty of toiletries. Such a great weekend away in the woods. Highly recommend!!
This is a fantastic property. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and captures the essence of a classic "up-north" retreat. Communication with the owner is fantastic, and she has been a pleasure to work with over the past two years.I highly recommend booking this location.
We rented this property because it was within reasonable driving distance to the Chippewa Moraine Ice Age Trail Segments for hiking, which provided an entire week's worth of hikes for us and our dog. The cabin is comfortable and has quality pots and pans unlike some rentals. The couch is comfortable for sleeping. Wi-fi worked great and so did the TV. The owls were out every night and fun to hear calling back and forth.. The outdoor chairs were great and the fire pit was in a good spot, but we were still careful not to burn when it was windy. It was easy to unload and load the vehicle because it is possible to back up to the edge of the cement close to the door. The owners replied to our emails. The grounds are pretty and the road at the end of the driveway is good for going for walks. The construction of the cabin is interesting and interior is tastefully decorated. If you have a gas stove, know that the cabin's stove is electric. It works just fine, but you have to pay attention while cooking if you are new to electric stoves.
Clean, inviting cabin with easy check in and out. Communication with owner simple and very responsive. Perfect for our family of 4 and our pup! Look forward to another stay in the future!
The cabin and property was just amazing. It is so peaceful and quiet. It is really the perfect getaway. Even the drive in was so much fun. Lots of wildlife to see (deer, rabbits, wild turkeys, birds and the sounds of moo cows nearby). Exactly what I was looking for to get me and my dog away for the weekend. Lots of space to throw ball and just roam the property with him. Very happy this place was open. Our host was AMAZING. Everything was so clean and all the amenities you would need were there. The leather sofa was very comfortable! Perfect for watching the Roku TV. Internet signal was strong. Communication was great. So easy to book and even extend our stay. I look forward to booking this cabin again.
The cabin was very nice and the host responded to all requests in a timely manner. The mosquitoes were pretty bad when we visited, though that is out of the host’s control. Just be sure to pack lots of bug spray! (There was some in the cabin as well.)
This place was absolutely beautiful. Loved the privacy and how far set back it was from the road. It's really hard finding dog friendly places, and this place was perfect. Not only were we able to enjoy our time, but our dog did too! The house was amazing and provided everything we could possibly need. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your property!
We would definitely stay here again! The coziness and amenities were a bonus. Overall very good experience. We had 4 adults, a 5 year old, a 1 year old and a dog as our group and there was room for all of us comfortably. The property is beautiful as well.
Very cozy cabin! Cabin was clean and comfortable! Property was fun to explore with kids and dogs! Lots of neat places to explore near by. Loved our vacation! Thank you!
Brought my son up shortly after my stay for some hunting and bonding. Very versatile property which should appeal to many types of outdoor entusiastas. Great communication with owners as well.
This is an amazing property. The cabin is beautiful with all appliances in good shape. There are numerous walking trails throughout the property and wildlife is abundant. Communication with the owner was fantastic!
