Very impressed with this cozy cabin getaway on the beautiful White Oak lake. Dana was easy to communicate with and made our short stay so peaceful and comfortable with plush beds and fully stocked bathroom and kitchen. The view of the lake is breathtaking! It was just perfect!
We had an absolutely lovely time in your beautiful home by the lake. I would love to stay in the summer for a few days. We truly enjoyed ourselves. My daughter and I were able to spend some wonderful one on one time together and enjoy our holiday.
We enjoyed staying at the lake cabin! The cabin was great for 4 adults and our 2 dogs. The view was beautiful with the lake and fall leaves! Everything was clean and cosy. Thanks for your hospitality!

The lake was absolutely pristine, the view was beautiful, the surrounding area was peaceful. It was the perfect retreat.
The house was lovely and well maintained.
We only stayed for one night as a base camp for a hike in shenandoah, but I thought this cabin was really cute and would be a great spot to spend some more time in the future!
The view from the property was beautiful and definitely set the mood for a quiet relaxing few days.
There was some unfinished cleaning when we arrived but owner had an emergency and rectified with a refund. Dana was easy to work with and a conscientious host.
This fully equipped and comfortable home has an amazing view of the lake and a peaceful atmosphere. We had success at fishing and enjoyed the clean, calm lake. The description provided is accurate. We look forward to visiting again!
Great place for a family to get some peace and quiet
We loved the home. It is small but has everything you need. Everything was clean and if you forgot something, chances are they had it there. Beds were comfortable. The deck and dock were very nice with plenty of furniture to use if wanted. We would definitely return!
The cabin is beautifully set on the lake with spectacular views. Everything was very clean and maintained. The drive to the national park was also great. 30 minutes of driving through the countryside. We would definitely stay again if we visit the park a second time.
We had a lovely time at Dana's cabin on the lake. The views are incredible and the home is well stocked. We appreciated her description about the sulfur smell of the water. I think no one had rented the place for a while and though it was very clean, the sulfur smell of the water was very strong, and none of us ended up showering the first night of our stay. It got less strong the next day, so would recommend coming a day before to let the water smell dissipate if planning on hosting guests. Maybe it's less strong in the summer, and the house certainly had a lot of toys and canoes for summer fun! Thanks.
The cabin was so cute and right on the lake! We didn’t get to spend too much time there as we used it as a home base to hike in Shenandoah, but the row boat was awesome to catch some small bass while we were there. There was one fishing pole on property, so if you’re into that, bring another. And as the owner notes, bring your own drinking water, not a big deal! We loved it here, will definitely rent again!
Oh- and Bald Top brewery was super close- which was a plus. Saturday- live music!
