You know that St. John is calling you home, pulling you back to the Caribbean’s unmatched blue green waters and pristine beaches! Enjoy your stay in this beautifully decorated one-bedroom penthouse suite located perfectly in the heart of Cruz Bay in Grande Bay Resort with spectacular views of the waters surrounding St. John and the USVI.
Tastefully decorated, this unit is furnished with a king size bed and is ideal for a couple celebrating a honeymoon, a birthday, an anniversary or just life! The full kitchen is well equipped and includes a dining table for two that looks out into Cruz Bay. The living room is also complete with comfortable seating and a TV. One of your favorite places to relax will be out on your private balcony – the perfect spot to enjoy your morning cup of coffee while you take in the beauty of St. John’s mountains in the background and the brilliant blue of the Caribbean just beneath the balcony. You’ll find beach chairs, coolers and beach towels for your daily trips to Maho, Trunk, Honeymoon or any of the equally beautiful beaches that St. John has to offer! This unit will provide for your every need both at home or on the beach.
You’ll find that the shops in town, ferry dock and taxi stand are just a short walk on the beach away from your location. Many fine restaurants are positioned within just steps and offer gorgeous quiet morning views of the water or stunning sunset views in the evenings!
Grande Bay Resort provides a fantastic swimming pool and deck for sunbathing as well as a gym featuring the equipment you would want for a good workout. Whatever you need, we have it here to make your stay special.
Once you book, our management team will contact you and assist with any specific needs you have to make your vacation and visit to our island memorable. They can help you arrange for a jeep or car rental, provisions for the condo, or answer any questions you may have about St. John.

2 week stay

We have used Grande Bay several times. When we return for another visit we will stay there again. It is clean, cool and has comfortable beds as well as you do not have to worry where you will park when you go to dinner because you can walk there in just a couple of minutes. This unit was no different. Great stay.

ROSES AND THORNS

We have stayed at the Grande Bay Resort many times. Many of those times in both penthouse and regular units, we prefer the penthouse for the view. As guests over 65 there are certain things that are helpful to improve the quality of our stay and I imagine for anyone with some aches and pains. The smart height toilets are a great plus for those with bad knees. Kitchen appliances and utensils were good. The kitchen and outside chairs looked nice but very uncomfortable and cushioning tired. A regular table outside with comfortable chairs would be great since some people cannot use high top chairs. It would be helpful if the listing indicated the building number of unit and that there about 8 steps to the elevator from the garage floor. These are merely suggestions and observations Overall the unit was very clean and would gladly return to this unit. Thanks

Spring Getaway

Beautiful property! The bed was very comfortable! Kitchen was a great setup if you wanted to cook in. We enjoyed using the pool onsite and walked a short walk into Cruz Bay for most meals, checking out all the great options. We picked up some drinks and snacks from Dolphin Market & Baby’s (walking distance). Easy location to catch a cab to the beaches or a ferry to other islands. The power did go out while we were there, but with the generator you didn’t even really know it was out, and you don’t need electricity at the beaches! Would absolutely recommend!

Beach Getaway

Great property very close to shopping and restaurants in Cruz Bay. Taxi stand and ferry terminal are also close. The view from the balcony was spectacular! Pool and a hot tub were nice to come back to at the end of a beach day.

Great trip!!!

Property is clean, really well maintained and has a setback spot so noise/beach bar music is muted/nom-existent…Grande Bay always a favorite for proximity to town, etc. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating for provisioning since we were arriving on a Sunday. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect for two people!

We loved this villa! It was very nice, updated, clean, and close to town. The small living room and kitchen area was perfect for what we needed. The balcony was excellent for hanging out in the morning while having coffee and planning the day. It was also great for regrouping prior to heading to dinner (or you can cook in and enjoy dinner overlooking Cruz Bay). The bedroom was spacious and the bed super comfortable. The bathroom was roomy and everything worked well. The shower could use a cut-in for placing hair products and soap. Not a huge issue. Tons of bath towels/clothes, beach towels, and gear. Two of the beach chairs were broken, but two otheres were available in the small locker beside the parking space. Very easy garage to get in and out of - whether walking or driving. Could use a couple charging blocks next to couch to allow plugging up of devices. Just a suggestion. This place is perfect!

awesome location right in cruz bay, 5 minute walk to downtown. beautiful view out back, i was able to see sunset everyday. everything was very clean and plenty of room. location is also a couple minutes from the car ferry. no complaints, will be back again!

Great location.

This property is within the Grand Bay condo resort. That means it's in the heart of Cruz Bay for very easy access to all that Cruz Bay has to offer with no need for a vehicle. We enjoy staying within Grande Bay for this very reason. This specific unit was clean with all you could need for a great stay on St. John. The unit is showing a bit of age but when you sit outside and enjoy the view of Cruz Bay and the surrounding islands that doesn't matter.

Just doesn't get any better!

2nd time at Grande Bay, first stay in this home. We loved it! Great views, comfortable bed and good stock of supplies in the kitchen and bath. We enjoy walking right out to Cruz Bay and taking in the great restaurants and shopping. With the reserved parking spot every day was easy and fun!!

Best time ever

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay. The penthouse was amazing and the people were so friendly. I think we learned a few things about how great people can really be. The walking was a little more than I bargained for, but the stay and the beaches, and the people were really worth it. My wife and I thank you for making our 45 th anniversary a memory we will never forget.

Wonderful Stay! Great location in Cruz Bay!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Grande Bay Resort in Cruz Bay. Crandall on St John was very professional and great to work with. Communication ahead of time was excellent, and it was nice to have someone to greet us the first day at the ferry. (Thank you, Desmond!) The condo was clean, well-appointed, and had all the amenities you'd want. Plenty of towels, linens, pillows, etc., as well as plenty of soap, laundry detergent and dish soap. It was nice to have a cooler and beach chairs to use, though the chairs have been well used. We were able to walk out of Grande Bay and in about 100 steps found snorkel rental at Low Key Dive shop, Jeep rental at St. John car rental, and many great places to eat! We loved having coffee and evening drinks on the patio with an incredible view of the bay. Each day we traveled the North Shore Road to visit a new beach, And each one of them was beautiful! We would stay here again for sure!
