Ocean Crag has gorgeous ocean views and is located steps away from Cape Hedge and Long Beaches. Enjoy breathtaking views of Milk Island, diving reef, and Atlantic Ocean from the master bedrooms and over sized deck.

All furniture is brand new and high quality, purchased in the spring of 2013. The home is spotless and meticulously maintained.

Fall Getaway
This is a perfect house for a vacation. Easy drive to restaurants and or shopping, sightseeing, etc. The house is comfortable, well equipped kitchen, and great views from some of the bedrooms. We would definitely return.

Excellent for a family vacation!
My family had a wonderful time and everyone was very comfortable at the house. The beach and the views were amazing, and Bruce was great communicating with us. We will definitely be back! You helped make my Mom’s milestone birthday weekend a lifelong memory!

Love the location
Best location, awesome upper deck. Great front yard. Loved the open floor plan on ground level. Spoke to owner during visit. He was very nice and quick to respond. Lovely vacation. Highly recommend it. Will return. :) Side note: outdoor grill is pretty rusted and old. Top grate fell over because of rust. I cleaned main grate for food and that was great. No rust. Only 3 of 5 burners worked. We were still able to cook 8 steaks on it, no problem. There was propane available. So it’s usable just not in the best shape.

Nice home with plenty of space located on a quiet street. It is walking distance to a unique pebble beach, Long Beach, and Good Harbor Beach.

Power outage for three days. Owner supplied generator for heat, hot water, and refrigerator. The stove would have been nice, we lost a lot of food.

Great house, very spacious and comfortable for both living and sleeping space. The location is wonderful, great view from the deck and beaches are just a short walk. Owners are very responsive. Highly recommend.

Great house at the beach!
This house was perfect for our family! We had eight family members ranging from 20 years old to 85 years old and everyone loved it. We would love to return to this house which has a perfect location to multiple beaches and a short drive to Rockport or Glouchester.

Beautiful view and stay near the beach.
This house was very convenient along the coast and had beautiful views of the ocean. It was very roomy, with plenty of beds and living space. It was also decorated bright and beachy and the kitchen seemed to have everything that you’d need. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to use the deck and outdoor areas, but they were just as described with a newer, large table on the deck and a nice sized grass area out front for lawn games. I would gladly stay here again.

Wonderful mini vacation beautiful home
When we arrived at the house everything went great . The home is a beautiful home by the ocean . The views from the two upstairs bedroom windows is breathtaking . What a site to wake up to every morning . The house was fully equipped with lots of extras . It was extreme cold while we were there. I love the open concept to the downstairs . I would definitely rent again . Only thing I see to do different is maybe the beds be made .

Beautiful home, location, and view
Our family recently stayed at Ocean Crag while in the area for our daughter's wedding. I don't know that we can give any more insight than previous reviews, but we certainly can echo all of their compliments and praises! The home was comfortably and tastefully furnished, was a just short walk to the lovely beach, and yet conveniently situated to town. It was such a busy time for us, so we weren't in the home as often as we would have liked. We certainly did appreciate being able to return to it for some rest and rejuvenation, though. One of our family members is elderly and uses a walker at all times. The bedroom on the ground floor was very well-suited for her. All-in-all, I don't think we could have stayed in a more perfect place than Ocean Crag. We hope to return!

A great place!
Our whole family (two sisters with husbands and children plus our parents) had a fabulous week here. You just can't beat the location and quick walk to Cape Hedge. Hanging out on the deck was wonderful, bedrooms were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, and really appreciated all of the beach chairs, beach toys, and the outdoor shower. Most importantly, Bruce was quick to respond to any questions I had. Definitely recommend and hope to have a chance to stay here again.

Beautiful, spacious house steps from ocean
This is a beautiful, clean and spacious house on a quiet street in a peaceful setting in Rockport. The views of the ocean from the upper deck are vast and stunning, and the access to the rocks, water and beach is perfect. We loved taking long walks along the ocean and hearing the waves crash from the house. A nice lawn in front made for great pick-up football and catch. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend getaway for a family reunion and to celebrate Easter, and we recommend this home to anyone! Great for extended families.

Well maintained and equipped with everything you could ask for and very spacious.

Great Vacation Home
We spent a week at this home in early July. We had 8 people total (6 adults and 2 toddlers). The property was exactly as advertised...great ocean views from the second floor and balcony, spacious interior (open floor plan on 1st floor), short walk to 2 great beaches, short drive to Rockport or Gloucester, and pretty much anything else you might need (margaritaville blender, lobster utensils, dishwasher, towels, beach stuff, etc). The owner (Bruce) made the whole process very easy from booking to checkout. He was very responsive and got back to me on questions I had prior to the trip and while on the trip in less than 30 minutes. If our travels take us back to Rockport we would definitely book this home again. It's a perfect vacation home for a family or small group looking to enjoy some time at the beach or exploring the local sites. It's also a very easy 1 hour train ride to Boston's North Station ($11.50 each way). Thanks Bruce for sharing your home! -Michael

Perfect Family Gathering Place!
We stayed over the July 4th week and it was perfect! The house is big enough for lots of people (we had 2 families, with teenage kids) yet still gives you the summer cottage feel. Everyone had ample room in the well appointed and comfortable bedrooms - closets dressers, etc. which made the living space clear for lounging, eating etc. Kitchen is well stocked. Second floor deck was great - we ate every meal out there, with a beautiful view morning noon and evening! Location is the perk of this place - literally a very short walk to the beach - can even just pop back for lunch - no need to lug a bunch of food or coolers. We even were able to take night time walks too - kids walked the beach to get ice cream which was fun. Best feature: Outdoor shower is great! no one really waited for showers ! Town is close so anything you need is a quick car ride away. Can't wait to return - I see an annual reunion in our future :)

I have enjoyed Rockport my entire life summering here until 1983 when the house was converted from a cottage to a home. At this point my family moved to Rockport full time and I attended Rockport Jr. and Sr. High so I know the area very well.

Why they chose this property

This property is one of a very few homes on Cape Hedge and Long Beaches. You are literally steps from both to enjoy a wonderful beach vacation. The views are outstanding and the summer walks are breathtaking. Enjoy your coffee on the deck or while taking a leisurely walk on Long Beach.

What makes this property unique

BEACH Location, Location, Location!!! you will not find a better spot for enjoying two of Rockports great beaches. The home is spacious with 5 bedrooms enough for a great family gathering. If a beach vacation is what you desire, you will not be dissappointed.
