Park the car and walk everywhere on Folly Beach. Small unit (250 sq feet) just blocks to the beach. However, what this place has to offer is location. Its best for solo travelers or couples looking to explore Charleston and hang out on Folly beach. You can walk to the beach in less than 2 minutes and walk to 10+ beach restaurants in less than 3. As close at it is to the beach, shopping, restaurants; the street is very quiet; at night you'll only be able to hear the waves or someone singing/playing guitar in the distance. Great Little Spot!

The Crows Nest is a great little spot that has a super close beach access and is just a couple block walk to Center St. We have been coming to Folly for years and the location is awesome! It is a smaller unit but that did not affect the good time we had. Roger was responsive when we had a question and we had a great time!

Little things here and there

Definitely a small space for a single or just a couple trying to get away. If it’s raining during your stay then I suggest not to book as the roof leaks and so there was brown water in different areas of the house like entry or the counter. So hopefully they fix it soon. We also did not like that the home smelled like cigarette(we don’t smoke). We believe it’s because there’s a fan that goes to the outside which is the garage next door. So anytime anyone outside would smoke then it just smelled all around the house. Another thing was that there was still dog hair on the couch. Overall it was really easy to enter and just easy going. Everything else was clean.

Owner responds quickly to any communications, it’s a great location location, saw an Owl in one of the oaks that overhangs the street. Pictures are accurate and a great representation of the rental unit. Definitely no issues with humidity, the owner has fixed any issue you read about in earlier reviews.

Interior was great, outside could use a lot of cleaning, especially the roof top seating area.

Overall the stay was good. Property manager and cleaning personnel were were good to work with.

Great little spot!!

It was our first time at Folly beach and this spot was perfect! It was right by a beach access point and downtown. Besides for driving into downtown Charleston we did not need our car at all the full trip. Great place for long walks on the beach and bar crawling.

The property was as described.It was very clean and just a block from the beach. For a single person or a couple it's perfect. It was stopped with necessities and clean. The house was easy to reach and responded quickly and. I would definitely stay there again.Should I return to folly.

Perfect for a weekend getaway

The location was perfect, and the apartmenthad everything we needed! We walked everywhere and were able to experience Folly Beach as if we were locals. Roger (the property manager) was super responsive and went above and beyond to help us with a car issue! Would definitely book here again.

Unfortunately no

The location of the property was great. You can walk directly to the beach on a private path. The place is modestly sized with very simple and not terribly comfortable furniture. Not a lot of room for lounging. There is clearly a problem with moisture in the place.We needed extra pillows and blanket and asked the owner. He sent some with a person who lives in a separate unit on the property. It felt weird though because he went into the property while we were out and our stuff was in the space. Not really hot water or good flow in the shower. Refrigerator froze everything. I could have tolerated these for a short stay where I planned on being mostly at the beach, but the dealbreaker was that on the second night, we discovered roaches in both the kitchen and bathroom. I told the property owner and let him know I would not continue to stay there. He offered to refund us partially and we left early.
