Turtle Dunes (Unit 1C) is a fabulous oceanfront view condominium in the Dunes Club! The Dunes Club is a beautiful beachfront condominium on Cape San Blas. It is a secure, gated complex of 15 luxury condominiums that were completed in 2004. It is located on a gorgeous stretch of white, sandy beach that was ranked number one in America that is never crowded. Amenities include a swimming pool, tennis courts, boat and trailer storage, beach boardwalk, building elevator, and one assigned and covered parking spot underneath the building. Free High Speed Wireless is also available.

Our unit is a 1st floor unit offering an open and relaxed atmosphere with breathtaking views and private stairs that access the pool area. The unit can also be accessed by an elevator from the ground floor. This beautiful unit includes three bedrooms and two full bathrooms that can sleep a party of 8 comfortably. The community also offers a private gulf front pool perfect for those afternoon cooldowns.

This unit is the perfect place for a great getaway. The gulf front living room features a twin sleeper sofa and queen sleeper sofa (both cannot be used at the same time), a well stocked entertainment center with a 42 inch plasma tv with cable, Blueray player and an electric fireplace in the TV stand. The living room has sliding glass doors that lead out to a large deck with expansive and beautiful Gulf views.

The spacious kitchen is a cook’s dream – well equipped with new, high quality large and small appliances, utensils and dishes. There is a full size pantry for storage as well. The kitchen has seating for 4 individuals at the bar as well as a separate dining room table that can accommodate 6 additional people.

The gulf front master bedroom with balcony entrance has a king-size bed, cable TV, full bath with double vanities and tub/shower combo, and large walk in closet. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, LCD TV with cable, DVD player and a full bath that connects to the hallway. The third bedroom has bunk beds with a LCD TV and a DVD player.

The gulf front deck overlooks the beach and heated pool and has table seating for six. The deck also has a large gourmet grill and private stairs down to the pool area (all units are accessible by elevator as well). Soak in the sound of the waves and enjoy the beautiful view of the beach.

Great space, great location, great vacation!

We loved our stay! It was perfect for our family of 5. Our favorite part was having the boardwalk at our back door! I will say that its not a super stocked space. There were several things that I was expecting to already be in place, based off of my experience of staying in other similar townhouses, condos, cabins, etc. Examples were dish soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towel, dish towels. These are items commonly provided to guests, in my experience. We didn't realize and had to go out to purchase these types of items. If they aren't provided, perhaps it should be noted in the housing information. Other than that, it was a wonderful place to stay. That certainly wasn't a deal breaker, but more annoying than anything.

Solid choice

Condo was a solid choice and a value rental. Location was great. I really enjoyed the pool and sitting on the back porch and enjoying the view. The worst part was the smell. The whole condo smelled terrible, like mold/mildew. I guess it’s from the carpet throughout most of the condo. I had to buy a bottle of Febreze. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay.

Loved the peace!

This place was perfect. Very quiet and peaceful. Loved being able to sit on the porch, and walk straight to the pool or beach. Would definitely stay here again.

2023 family vacay

This is the first time to Cape San Blas. We loved it. Hopefully we will be back next year. The condo was well stocked with item that we needed....kitchen towels, kitchen utensils, pot and pans and mixing bowls, etc. We loved the huge balcony also.

As good as last two visits.

We had a relaxing visit. Property was quiet enough. Unit above must have hard flooring or they were heavy footed. Seemed like we heard them going back and forth most of the day. I did vacuum the patio, since my dog was cleaning it. It took ten minutes and was worth it, so I would not have to fuss at the dog the whole trip. This is why I gave 4 stars for cleanliness. I will book again at this location. Larry and Pristine Properties were pleasant once again to work with.

Unit could use a refresh!

Proximity to beach/pool was great, nice view, enjoyed the porch. Kitchen well stocked. Living/dining area is cramped, lots of breakable decor on tables/shelving which is not ideal with young children. Carpet in the living/dining area of a rental beach property is not appealing.

Nice condo with assigned parking space, The carts to get up your stuff up to the unit were great. The unit was clean and well stocked. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Girls trip

We had an amazing time. Word of caution if you have issues walking. The boardwalk is an easy walk and probably 300 steps. However, there’s Sandy path at the end of boardwalk through the dunes to the beach that may be difficult for some people. The water clarity is not as good in this location. Better to stay further down peninsula as the water clarity is usually a lot better.

Great vacation

I loved being able to take my dog with me. The property was nice and I slept very well in the bed. The only downfall is the long walk to the beach. The boardwalk was nice but could be extended. Overall I enjoyed my stay

The booking and communication was so easy. They even provided a spreadsheet of information for marriage, photographer, venues, etc The home was perfect for our family. Many home cooked meals the kitchen is stocked with all the needs.

Property Manager unprofessional

Our dryer did not work when we tried it Sunday. We contacted the after hours number one Monday (4th of July). I explained we had a dog and wait until we got back. They sent maintaince anyway. We got home to find a notice they were unable to check the dryer. I called first thing Tuesday, and they did not send anyone to the condo on Tuesday. Finally on Wednesday after multiple talks with a customer service rep and Justin a repairman came to check the dryer. He was an independent contractor but, implied the dryer was not going to work. My wife called Back and told Justin the dryer wasn’t going to work. (He’s the owner) Justin told her he would need to talk the repairman. The customer service rep said she would give us the location of where we could “Go” to dry our Clothes. We were on vacation. This was unacceptable. Finally that afternoon we called to ask for some fresh towels. The dryer was delivered a little later. We left to eat, and I called to ask them to put the fresh towels just inside the door since our dog was in the Condo. Kaley says “oh the dryer was delivered?” I said yes, just now. She says, “well the new towels were out of courtesy. But, since you have a dryer you can wash yours.” I said common courtesy would to have a working dryer the day we arrive. Don’t talk to me about courtesy. Pristine Properties is ridiculous- just read some of their recent online reviews. Under no situation would I ever use a property they managed again. We went 4 days with no dryer and had to haggle and spam call them to do something about the dryer. Lost an entire day (Tuesday) because no one came and then they acted like kids when we were upset. Beach was great!

Great time

Gave 4 stars on cleanliness, since I needed to sweep balcony. My dog was hoovering out there. We did have red tide on the beach. We were only able to enjoy beach two days. That can not be controlled by owner and we still enjoyed being close to the walk path where we able to walk our dog. Unfortunately my husband and I did not explore the park down the street until the second to last day, when the dog walked that far. Wonderful walk path my mom could have enjoyed, had we found it earlier. The only time it rained was the night we were going to show it to her the last night. Lovely place. A little long of a walk for my mom (she is 83) to the beach without a railing all of the way to the beach.

Time Together

Three friends (and one spouse) get together quarterly. This time we met at the beach. Very pleasant visit. Condo was good - the 3rd bedroom with bunk beds is very small and not really comfortable for an adult. Overall great time together

Great Place, Bad location

This rental was very clean and the kitchen was stocked and you could cook anything. The beach was so far and to be fair I saw it was 300 steps, putting that into perspective when u get here is two different stories. The pool is so hot it doesn’t feel refreshing to get in. No one came to clean the pool the whole week. The bed was horrible. When you make it you can visibly see 3 large lumps. So bad and your stuck with it. The WiFi is bad too. I tried to get some work done but it wasn’t possible. The couches are very comfortable snd there is no where to recline. The table is stuff and if anyone sits you can’t get by. To much furniture or the wrong furniture. The service that leaves the “hotel” towels needs to take in consideration how many are staying there. You can’t sit on the porch. The bugs eat you alive!!! I just want to be honest You can’t hear the ocean on the porch which stinks. It’s great you have a covered parking spot and the carts are wonderful and very helpful to get your luggage up and groceries up.

Perfect Getaway!!

I can’t begin to say what a great place this is! The condo is perfect in location to the pool and beach. Parking steps away. Carts kept by elevator for easy use. It is fully equipped with everything you might need. The balcony was great - a wagon with chairs, a grill and outdoor seating to enjoy while watching the kids in the pool or a beautiful sunset. (Just remember to bring bug repellent if summer months). Quaint and uncrowded beach. Shells everywhere!!! Great location to ride bikes to Salinas Park. Stores and restaurants are all within 5-15 min drive. It was our first time traveling with our small dog and we arrived to find a baby gate at the balcony stairs for us!! Very thoughtful! Can’t wait to come back!

Quiet beach for relaxing in nature

If you are looking for a beach location to connect with nature and enjoy peace and quiet, this is the place. Just down the road from a state park with playground, pickle ball courts, volleyball court and nature walk. Close enough for fine dining and far enough to be nearly alone on the beach.

Beware of the elevator

The condo, 1C, was poorly furnished. It was too much furniture for such a small space. The dining table was a nightmare drop down. There was some blue painted thing that we never figured out what it was, other than a shin catcher. We were trapped in the elevator and had to call the emergency number. It was not their first call for that elevator. The no-see-ums we’re so bad on the porch overlooking the pool that we couldn’t use it.. However, one good thing, the kitchen was wonderfully stocked!
