Weekend stay for family and friends
We stayed at this property for a weekend getaway to celebrate a family members birthday.
The neighborhood was quaint and quite and very clean.
The house suited our needs with plenty of room to sleep.
Our biggest complaint was, the first night we arrived there were lots of large carpenter ants running along the fireplace and ceiling throughout the dinning and kitchen areas. We did spend much of our first night getting rid of ants which was incredibly frustrating.
The large couch in the living room ( not the same couch as pictured) was not very functional as the backrest were not attached and would fall off when leaned on, so sitting comfortably on the couch was not possible.
We had planned to spend the day in the pool, the pool was large as well as the screened in lanai, with plenty of seating around the pool.
However the pool was not cleaned prior to our arrival, tons of sand in the bottom and lots of bugs and debris floating as well.
Around the pool were very old, deflated floats w/ holes in them that were just thrown in a corner.
The backyard next to the pool had a large area of very large pieces of broken glass under a window in the grass.
The kitchen had very minimal utensils, plates, no serving bowls. If you plan to stay here for a long period of time, be prepared and bring your own.
With all of that said, the house works well for a large group, large open floor plan, large dinning room and dinning room table and plenty of beds.
