A new mattress on the modern Hawaiian queen bed in the bedroom and a comfy sleeper sofa in the living room. Fresh white cotton linens and towels placed for your arrival and colorful Beach Towels to save you luggage space.

This is an older property that could use a little TLC, but the location is great. Amenities in the unit are minimal and space is a little cramped, but for our purposes, it worked just fine. Close to the beach, shopping, bus lines, etc.
This unit is located just a 5 minute walk to Waikiki Beach and close to lots of great restaurants. It has everything in it that you would need. Loved it and would stay here again. Mahalo for a great stay.
Restaurants in the immediate blocks had great choices. Perfect distance from beach, 5 minute walk. The closest street to beach was all upscale bland stuff, Kohio had character. Target store 5 minutes walk was wonderful for groceries at a good price.
This was a great spot for those looking for a quick walk to Waikiki Beach and all the shops along Kuhio Ave. Having the kitchenette helped a lot and there was plenty of room for 3 people. Host was also very quick to respond to questions. Thank you!
Musk smell bedroom with water leak fro the air conditioner unit
Bedroom cooling didn’t work. Cooling unit water drain was plugged and the water was dripping inside the bedroom. There was huge puddle of standing water in the room.The bedroom was musky smell to it.
This was the perfect condo for our 3-person family: a bedroom for us adults and a pull-out couch for the kiddo. Check-in with the front desk was a breeze. Even though this is a rental unit, we still had use of hotel facilities like laundry and the pool (very nice little pool and hot tub with lots of deck chairs and a restaurant/bar). Host responded to all our messages quickly. Condo itself was clean and well-stocked, especially in terms of kitchen appliances: there was a fridge, microwave, toaster, rice cooker, and coffee pot! Perfect if, like us, you don’t want to eat out for every meal. Target and multiple ABC stores close by, and a 5 minute walk to both the International Marketplace and the beach. This unit faces Kuhio Ave so you can hear traffic sometimes but honestly it didn’t bother us: all three of us are light sleepers and didn’t have any problems. All in all, a great value-would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!
Great location!!! Loved the apartment!!! The only issue I had was the noise. I had a hard time sleeping even with ear plugs. I did read some past tenants reviews on noise but I didn't realize how noisy it was. I took the chance, which is my fault.
This place is in a perfect lactation, no need for a car. Traveling with a toddler is not easy but this space was perfect and had everything we needed! Waikiki market is a few blocks down which is great for groceries and meals, great poke! Coffee shop on same block for morning lattes and even got my nails done at the nail salon next door! Second time staying at Bamboo Waikiki and will be back for sure!
This property was small and not new, but perfect for our family of three for a three day Waikiki stay. It is in an hotel, so think hotel-style amenities, tiny shampoos and tiny soaps, but it has a tiny kitchenette as well. Affordably priced, inland/city view from the small balconies. Some road noise but we enjoyed the bustle. My favorite aspect was the shower. The water was instantly warm and the water pressure was scandalously generous. The queen bed was comfortable and my daughter said the pullout sofa was fine, however, be aware that a person on the sofa has no privacy. This would not be enough room for a family to spread out and spend a lot of time inside, but staying inside is not why we came to Waikiki. This location was great! Steps from the beach and the International Market, and not far from the Ala Wai Canal which is great for a morning run.
Great location, walking distance to Waikiki Beach, shopping, and Waikiki Trolley. Condo was pretty much as described. It is small, but very workable for 3 adults. Parking is rarely available onsite, but used public lot a few blocks away and paid the weekly rate. We were able to come and go, and always available parking even when full. There is no sportsbar onsite. The restaurant by the pool has extremely limited food, hours, and no alcoholic beverages. There is a daily morning purge of water, from somewhere above, that would dump onto living room balcony. Dont get caught sitting out there, you will get wet. There is a small crockpot in the condo.
The property is in a great location and the neighborhood is safe. It’s a very short easy walk to the beaches of Waikiki and all the big shopping areas like the International Plaza etc. The building is older but kept up nice with a small pool and bar at the back part of the ground floor. The unit is what I consider perfect for the location….how much time do you spend in the room when you have so many things to do around you. It’s not ocean view so you won’t be lounging on the balcony for hours and the room is for showering, sleeping and the other S word, with that in mind it’s a great little place…furnishings are a little dated but again for its location it’s just fine. The only two negative things I will say is the road noise can be a bit much for those that are sensitive….it didn’t bother me. The second is parking…I found a very small and tight garage about three buildings away was cheaper. On-site parking has to be arranged in advance.
The balcony doors are the smoothest gliding doors and the balconies are good for Mountain View’s and crazy people watching. We did lose power to the whole city block for about 35 minutes but it was quickly restored. Laundry is super convenient as it is on the same floor and like 30 feet down the hall…the view of the pool from the laundry room isn’t bad either ….you can almost see the beach.
If you are a hoity toity that needs Park Avenue this isn’t the place….but if you want clean and comfortable and convenient this is a great place.
