Great Place and Close to Downtown Restaurants!

The house was much bigger than it looked in photos! The hosts were super responsive and easy to work with. Would definitely stay here again!

Great home and location!

The property was great! Lots of space to spread out with plenty of room for the whole family. Very convenient location to be able to walk to town and enjoy all Bolton Landing has to offer. The host was very responsive to all our needs! We would definitely rent again!

Great Place in the Woods

Second year we have stayed at Kates place, had a great time. Very quiet, out of the way, easy 5 minute walk to town, no need to look for parking spot. Easy communication. We’ll be back.

We’ve stayed here multiple times in the past couple of years. The location is perfect, house is big enough to accommodate a larger group. Kate is always responsive if you should need anything. Love this place and will hopefully stay again!

Great location

Perfect spot for a quiet 4th of July week with the family. Close enough to beaches and downtown to walk but removed enough from the strip for peace and privacy. Only complaint is the kids got freaked out by a huge grasshopper looking bug in the bathroom but other than that it was a very clean property. Would stay there again.

Great getaway

We had a wonderful vacation in Lake George! The property was close enough to the main lake area without being overwhelmed by general tourism. The walkability to the quaint Bolton Landing downtown area was a pleasant surprise. We spent many evenings walking into town for ice cream or a walk through the shops. The bedrooms had more beds than we thought and this allowed the kids to stay together in a larger room. We encountered an issue with the water heater which the owner quickly tended to and resolved. Overall, a good experience!

Perfect Getaway

This property checked all the boxes for a late October trip. Scenic and quiet, close to the beach and an easy walk to shops and resturants. Food store too! The house itself had plenty of room for 8 people with a couple of quiet inside seating areas. Bathrooms were nice and clean and the kitchen was well equipped.

Great property

Loved our accomodations. Loved the size of the house and number of bathrooms. Beds were very comfortable. Large kitchen with island and plenty of supplies. Everyday items were included and made our stay enjoyable. Location was great and walking distance to the town with shops, restaurants, and even a small grocery store. Close to Lake George Village. Owner was very responsive to questions about the property. Will definitely stay again when our travels bring us back to the area.

Lovely stay in Bolton Landing

Combined cabin feel with being a well equipped & really quite large house - bigger and better equipped than in the photos while still being a bit rustic and lived in (owners' stuff around the place but not in a bad way). Very quiet and peaceful, only 5 minute walk to the lake and the main street, lots of good (short) hikes around as well as a decent supermarket, liquor store and plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars - something for everyone (althoughs adults particularly enjoyed regular pop-ins to the Bolton Landing Brewing Company. Check-in was a bit vague but all worked out well

Lovely Location

This was a lovely home and the owner's communication was lightening fast. There were some carpenter ants in the home but it is a cottage near a lake so that is to be expected. Quiet beautiful location in the woods.

Cozy and convenient

We absolutely loved our stay. Kate was accommodating and quick to respond. The house was bigger than it looked on the site. An eclectic mix of comfy furniture, big bedrooms and was a big plus to have 3 FULL bathrooms. Only a 15 minute drive from Lake George and a quick 3 minute walk into Bolton Landing. We'd definitely stay again!

A Nice Winter Retreat

House was warm and cozy for our very snowy weekend! The only disappointment was not being able to use the fireplace, which would have made our stay there a perfect 10. Very comfortable and spacious for 3 couples to enjoy. Easy and pretty walk into town and down to the frozen lake. Kate was quick to respond with questions and very gracious. Charming home in a scenic, wooded area.

Large home and great location

Kate was very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. The house is older so it has it quirks and charms. It was plenty big enough and actually has 3 full bathrooms which was a plus. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. However, we did not cook. Just used frig and microwave. House if right there in Bolton Landing which is a cut little town and only 15 minutes away from Lake George where we spent one of our days. We had a great time.

Great place in Bolton Landing!

We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay in Bolton Landing! It's a 5-minute walk from the village. The house is spacious, very clean, the kitchen is well stocked (and large), beds were comfortable, and there are some cute nooks in the house where you can comfortably sit and read, in addition to having the comfortable living room area. Our host Cate was very easy to communicate with, and when we had a problem accessing the internet, she addressed it immediately. She was gracious and helpful! We'd definitely recommend staying here!

Fantastic

Kate’s place was perfect for our family vacation with 5 adults, a teen and 2 little ones. There was plenty of space to gather together to make and enjoy meals yet everyone had their own room to retreat to when they needed a break. Really peaceful setting but close to everything in Bolton.
