About this property

Joyful Family Cabin halfway between Zions & Bryce

Come enjoy this gorgeous cabin in Duck Creek Village. It is the best home base for everything in Southern Utah. In the winter, you can go sledding right outside the cabin door (Sleds are provided). Rent a snowmobile in the village, ski at Brian head or enjoy the view of the snowy meadow from the deck. In the summertime, hike, fish, and ride ATV's in the trails that surround the cabin. Explore Zion and Bryce and Cedar Breaks. Everything you need for a perfect mountain retreat is here.

The space
Enjoy the beautiful pine interior in this spacious cabin with 3200 square feet. There is plenty of room for everyone on three floors. On the main floor enjoy floor to ceiling windows overlooking the mountains, meadow, and pines. Sit at the table for 10 in the kitchen or grill outside on the wrap around deck and enjoy your meal at the outdoor table. The main floor also has a master bedroom with master bath, laundry room and half bath. Upstairs you will find two additional bedrooms, a bathroom, and a loft overlooking the great room with games, books and toys for the family to enjoy. The futon in the loft can also sleep a guest. Downstairs there is one more bedroom and bathroom along with a cozy family room with two coddle sofas that can make out to beds for more sleep space. With air conditioning and a central heating system you will be able to enjoy the wilderness in comfort. There is also a bonus game room with a ping pong table, air hockey and foosball games. We have an outdoor fire pit with camping chairs so you can roast marshmallows over the fire and enjoy a view of the stars you have never experienced before.

No pets are allowed as the host is highly allergic.

GUESTS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE 4-WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLES FROM DECEMBER THROUGH MARCH.

Guest access
You will have access to the whole cabin and outdoor areas surrounding the cabin. The main floor of the cabin is wheelchair accessible. There are no stairs to get into the cabin. The master bedroom on the main floor has an accessible shower with grab bars. There is no smoking inside or outside our cabin.

Other things to note
No pets are allowed (even service animals) because the host is highly allergic. There is absolutely no smoking inside or outside of our cabin. No parties.

Family get away
Our stay was wonderful! Enjoyed Zions horseback riding, hiking, the Narrows, ATV’s at Duck Creek where we explored Strawberry Point, the Ice cave and the nearby trails. The house was very comfortable, welcoming and relaxing. Just wish it had a larger hot water heater to accommodate for the number of people showering after our adventures, Over all we had a wonderful stay!

Practically Perfect Place!
What a wonderful place! Home away from home, Very welcoming, peaceful and relaxing, the weather dampened our outdoor plans, so it was a great home to be in if your are going to be stuck inside. The heated toilet seats were also a hit for most everyone, who knew? Plenty of parking , restrooms, bedrooms and fun covered wrap around porch. Beautiful view, Great place!
