This upper level condo is our sunniest, appointed with cheerful pastel southwest decor and located in the Pointe Resort community next to the Canyon Pool with a full-size patio balcony overlooking the complex, accessible via two sets of arcadia doors from both the living room & master bedroom. Enjoy the relaxing view of swaying palm trees against a scenic mountain backdrop as you dine outside or sip your morning coffee.
The modern 1100 square foot floor plan places the two bedrooms on opposite sides separated by the living room and can sleep up to four comfortably. The open kitchen and dining area and nine foot ceilings create a feeling of space and openness throughout. The unit features plush carpeting and natural light maple laminate hardwood flooring along with a mint & peach color scheme and resort-style wicker furniture and upholstery.
NOTE: Guest bedroom will be furnished with EITHER a king OR two twin xl beds, depending on the situation at time of check-in and cannot be determined in advance. Guest may request and reserve a specific configuration at time of booking for a $90 fee. No bed configuration changes are permitted after check-in during guest’s stay.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND BEFORE BOOKING: All guests will be contacted and must speak to a representative by telephone up to a week before arrival to establish a rapport, answer any remaining questions and to collect and relay certain details not provided here on Vrbo. This particular property also requires a short one-page contract be signed digitally online. Once the reservation is completely non-refundable, and guest has completed the phone call and returned the signed contract, guest will be provided all necessary details and instructions for their day of arrival. Guest may arrive any time between 4-10 PM but since we must have an agent on site for every check-in, we will need to ask your expected arrival time, and for you to update us with any changes thereafter. -- IMPORTANT: Resort reserves the right to cancel any booking by any guest who is noncompliant or belligerent during communication by phone or text regarding the above procedures which you agree to by booking, even if you fail to read and review all terms and details. If you want a completely "no-contact/no-human-interaction" arrangement or for any reason you object to our policy or any of these requirements we ask you not to book, or to let us know within a 4-hour grace period of booking, and your reservation will be canceled with a full refund of your payment. A full or partial refund may also be possible thereafter according to the cancellation policy provided in our listing, depending on time remaining before the scheduled reservation.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: We are about one-third to one-half the cost of a room at the Hilton next door, yet offer two to three times the space, including a full kitchen to save on dining out. Guests enjoy three pool & spa complexes open 24/7/365, all with hot tubs, showers, restrooms and grills, and all heated during the winter, so they're always available and swimmable anytime you wish to use them! The resort is surrounded by mountains and is just a 1/2 mile walk to hiking & biking at North Mountain preserve.
Guests will receive a mailbox key upon check-in, so those here for multiple weeks or months may have their USPS mail temporarily forwarded directly to the resort mail huts just a few feet away; UPS and FedEx packages will be delivered directly to your door. Unlike the others here, all of our rentals offer extras such as stereo surround sound, landline telephone service with voicemail, caller ID and unlimited long distance calls to Canada and within the U.S., as well as full-service check-in with a representative to greet you on site and to tend to any needs that may arise. All our properties feature free WiFi and landlines which enable resort gate entry via intercom.
Our short-term rentals are geared toward those who need to stick to a budget compared to a decent hotel room yet would still like to enjoy the additional size and amenities of a complete vacation home as well as the convenient location and private, well-kept environment of a resort community. Starting out at Motel 6 prices, even our highest rates are half the starting rate of a single bedroom and bathroom at the Hilton next door, yet with two to three times the space! We strive to provide a great value to guests, offering both affordable rates and the convenience of a well furnished, decorated and appointed full-size home in a pleasant and private gated community with three 24/7 heated pool & spa complexes at your disposal. We always have someone on site to address your needs. However, at our low rates (starting at $37/nt. for a full home in the summer) we have a very limited staff and there are occasionally missed items or things that may be overlooked or unnoticed, especially when prepping a rental for new guests after stays of several weeks or months. For instance, with all the linens and kitchenware we provide, some guests may put away an item without properly cleaning it. While this is not the norm, it does happen and we do not have the resources to check every single item that has been stored or folded. When this occurs there may be an instance where a subsequent guest may need to rewash it, or there may be a crumb or hair here or there that is impossible to catch during inspection between back-to-back bookings. If you already know you are highly meticulous or very picky about small things such as linens washed in certain fragrant detergents, or an occasional creepy crawler from the desert that finds its way indoors, or a shampoo bottle that is not completely full, etc. we may not be an ideal fit for you and would instead suggest a hotel with a full-time staff at a higher price point. Of course as our reviews reflect, the vast majority of our guests since 2004 have been very appreciative of our low rates which we haven't raised in many years considering all the amenities, pleasant environment and quality of living we offer. We just don't want our higher-end appeal at low-end prices to be mistaken as a guarantee for top-dollar perfection or to set unreasonable expectations and demands. We are perfect for those who won't mind if they encounter some of these incidentals considering what we offer at our lower-end price point. We are dedicated to providing a tremendous value to all financially mindful guests.
POWER USAGE: The first $25/week ($35/week summer) is covered with your rental agreement. Excess power usage will be withheld from the security deposit. Most responsible guests who are not excessive will not exceed this allowance, or if so only by a negligible amount. However, unlimited power usage is still available under our former rate plan for an additional $6/night. Inform management before arrival if you would nevertheless prefer this option.

Any attempt by a guest to accommodate more than the maximum occupancy as previously declared and specified, or to house an undisclosed pet, will result in an additional charge, removal of excess occupants, and/or reservation termination without refund.
