The space
Two traditional MN log cabins set the tone for an "up north" experience you'd find in a storybook. Located in the city limits of Detroit Lakes, the lot layout, green spaces, and heavy tree cover provide a feeling of exclusion and peacefulness. The guest cabin is a perfect home for the kids or an additional family. Lakeside is a peaceful fern garden - the last on Detroit Lake - that transitions to a soft grass lawn, then a perfect sandy beach and firm, sand lake bottom - a rare and highly coveted feature on Detroit Lake. The beautiful back yard gardens transport you to your own, private escape that seems to suck stress and tension from your soul for a different level of relaxation. The adjacent, lush lawn is a perfect spot for yoga or a lawn chair nap.
