THE EXTERIOR ~ The large heated pool and large hot tub spa is located in a lush tropical setting and invites you to swim the day away. Play on the newly installed putting green right next to the waterfront dock. Catch a siesta on the sun loungers or cozy up with a good book in the lazy hammock shaded by the palm trees. Enjoy lunch “al fresco” at one of 2 outdoor dining tables next to the pool. The tiki hut is a favorite spot to gather for a cocktail, gaze at the canal and enjoy “island time”. The deepwater canal and private dock area at the backdoor for your enjoyment, perfect for fishing or renting a boat. Sirenia By The Sea offers direct access to Bimini Bay and the Gulf of Mexico (no bridges!). Bring your boat!

THE BEACH ~ Anna Maria Island is blessed with sugar-white sand beaches and emerald green waters. The Gulf Beach is only 1 block from the villa (11 houses down). Beach access is directly on our street!

THE INTERIOR ~ The house is resplendent with comfy furniture and seating for all, with two separate living areas, replete with their own large Flat Screen TV's and a flex space/den to enjoy a quiet moment upstairs, no one will feel crowded! The open concept kitchen with stainless steel appliances easily accommodates a large group. The upgraded cabinetry, granite countertops, and premium cookware call to your “inner foodie” making cooking for a crowd a breeze. Love the new wine fridge and coffee/cocktail bar!
Sirenia By The Sea offers both a Weber gas B.B.Q. grill and a Weber Charcoal grill. Enjoy delicious dining al fresco or in the large dining room overlooking the pool.

Sirenia By The Sea offers three luxurious bedrooms on the main level and two more upstairs plus a flex space/den. Two families can have their own separate floors for privacy.

Three primary bedrooms have king-size beds, sitting areas, and their own en-suite bathrooms. The second main level bedroom has a queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom. The third bedroom has two twin beds and is conveniently located next to the master suite. The third twin bedroom uses the full bathroom located down the hall.

The second floor houses the other 2 large primary bedrooms. One king-size bedroom with en-suite bathroom (step in shower) and sitting area. The other king size bedroom has a waterfront view balcony with en-suite bathroom housing a shower/tub combination bathroom. The upstairs den is a great flex space, ideal for chilling out or for accommodating up to four guests on the double over double mattress bunk bed.

THE EXTRA LUXURIES ~ We offer extra luxuries that most rentals don't, such as large fluffy beach towels, beach cart, cooler, beach chairs and more. Grocery stocking service and concierge services are available upon request so there is no need to rush to the grocery store!

Great for large families!

Just had a great week with our family, which included 5 grandchildren. The house was fantastic. There were so many choices of bedrooms to accommodate everyone, allowing for everyone to be together but still have their own space. The weather was a little cool and windy, so the large indoor garage/ laundry room area was perfect for the kids to run around and have room to play inside. And the adults could shut the glass door and still see them, but not hear them. A bonus! The back yard was a real bonus too. The pool is pretty shaded, so that combined with the cool weather kept the crew from swimming too much but they did enjoy the spa. We appreciated that the kitchen and living area had a flat walk out to the pool and back yard area. Very short walk to the beach and lots of beach equipment was supplied. We even took advantage of the included access to the community center. They have a nice playground and soccer fields for the kids to use. Nancy was an amazing host. Very accessible and quick to respond. She provided many email newsletters prior to arrival with tons of information about the area. The house iPad is also very helpful with the details about the house and services. This was our fourth annual family trip to the island and we thoroughly enjoyed this stay.

Lovely family vacation close to the beach.

Our family of 11, which included 4 kids from 18 mo to 10, really enjoyed our time in this beautiful and well appointed home. The beach was close by and the house and back yard pool area had plenty of areas for either relaxing or being active. Nancy, the property manager, was great.

The property is beautiful, perfect location. The backyard has a lush resort atmosphere. The inside of the house is very comfortable with a kitchen that had all the staples. The only thing missing was the outside shower which is listed on the site. Overall a beautiful house.

Fabulous Beach House with Dock

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Sirenia By The Sea. Nancy is wonderful to work with and very communicative. Any question or concern was addressed immediately. We traveled with my 3 sons and my in-laws and very much appreciated the layout of the home. It allowed all of us to have privacy and at the same time, spend time together. The villa is nicely updated and very clean. The pool and putting green was a hit with my boys, and my husband, an avid boater, enjoyed renting a vessel and being able to park it right in our own backyard. The location of the home was perfect for us - a short stroll to the beautiful gulf beach, and close to Pine Avenue shops and restaurants. Grocery stores and other retail establishments are also close by. We love AMI and would certainly rent from Nancy again should we return.

The beach home was large and clean enough for a rental, but there were some big issues. One AC unit was out so for 3 nights/days, the downstairs of the home was 82 degrees. One fan was broken so she did have someone buy us two new fans. The owner did take care of putting in a new AC unit but we really expected some compensation to get a hotel for one of the nights that it was unbearable. She said she would give us $250 towards a hotel for four of us. She expected four of us to sleep together in one hotel room, which we couldn’t do with grandparents and two teenage granddaughters. After the AC was fixed, another issue of a water leak due to a clogged shower drain because it wasn’t cleaned properly. She tried to say we overflowed the shower, which we stopped the shower before the water ran over the edge. The water caused a ceiling leak downstairs under the bathroom. Owner said we shouldn’t have let the water run kver, which we didn’t, and we have pictures to prove this. Again, owner was good about getting someone out to inspect, but my son in law already fixed the drain.(filthy by the way) and we have pictures. Owner offered no compensation for the inconvenience and at paying almost $2000/night for the week, that sure would have been an appropriate and kind thing to do for renters who took great care of the property during our stay.

Spacious house in an excellent location

For the space and location I would rate this property 5-stars. There were a few unexpected issues that came up but the owner addressed them in a kind and timely manner. Would have liked a little more backyard space for our large group but would have had to give up pool space 😕 We would definitely rent from this owner again!

Perfect family vacation!

This house was perfect for our first visit to Anna Maria Island. We spent our week bouncing between the beach and the pool. We were close to plenty of food and shopping, too! The owners have put a lot of thought into their rental…plenty of beach toys, items for kids such as a booster seat for the table, and the kitchen has everything you need to cook a delicious meal. We will absolutely stay here again if we come back to AMI. :)

Fantastic location on the canal!

The location of this villa is perfect, one block from the beach and right onto the canal from the back yard. We hired kayaks and Paddleboards which we loved having the easy access. Communication with Nancy was very good, always responded very quickly to any question I had! We would return in a heartbeat

Paradise by the canal

Amazing experience with both the house and communication with the hostess. The pool was warm which hasn’t been our experience all the other times we’ve come to Florida, and so it got lots of use. We also loved having a back yard for the kids to run in. The pool is only a few steps from the back door which we didn’t realize by seeing the map, so if you have small kids you might want to consider that. There is a fence but our toddlers figured that our quickly and could open it. We did end up using the pool alarm that alerts us if anyone got in the water so thankful for that! We’d definitely stay here again

Amazing Property

Wow! Beautiful home and outdoor area! Couldn’t have been better. Fishing off the dock, caught a few fish including flounder. Brought our own paddle boards and went into Bimini Bay for daily relaxing trips, saw dolphins and a manatee! Easy walk to the beach, beautiful pool and spa area to relax and let the kids play. Adults enjoyed the spa every night after the kiddos were tucked in bed. Comfortable sleeping arrangements for the whole family. We made all our meals at the house, never ate out. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed and grills were large and worked well! Nancy thought of everything! We had great check in and check out instruction making the whole process very easy. Wonderful family memories where made, would love to return again!

Great House, Great Location

We loved our stay at Sirenia By the Sea and had a wonderful time. The owner, Nancy, provided very helpful information about AMI when we were planning our trip and was easy to get in touch with before and during the trip. The house itself was in a great location-close to the beach, close to Pine St. and on a canal. The house was in good shape, was very clean, and was very well stocked with items that you would need for your stay there. The pool and spa were wonderful and the lush palm trees and landscaping provided privacy. We enjoyed our time there and would love to return in the future.

Great family get-away

We had a great time at Serenia by the Sea. It was perfect for our extended family as we all had our own bedrooms and bathrooms as well as enough communal space. The backyard was great with the private pool and hot tub. We also enjoyed being able to walk to local restaurants and shops. Loved it!

GREAT FAMILY HOUSE CLOSE TO THE BEACH

This was a great house for our mix of family and friends. We were there for two weeks and we would love to have stayed longer. There many "pros" to this home. The two seperate seating / TV areas were great since we were not always on the same page as to what to watch or do at night. A bathroom for every bedroom was great for privacy for our mixed family / friends group. The location is ideal. You are at the beach in about 2 minutes walking. Also great because you can walk to so many restaurants, bars and shops easily. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. That includes small appliances. There is a "bonus room" off the kitchen on the front of the house that was once the garage that they have opened up and it holds everything from a ping-pong table to 2 sets of washers and dryers, an extra refrigerator and plenty of space for your extras suitcases, extra food, coolers, beach toys, bikes... Beds are comfortable and there was plenty of space for those that still had to work to spread out and have some privacy. The backyard is great and we found ourselves there both day and night. Pool was heated to a perfect temperature which we have found is not always the case in rentals. The home was truly charming. It is not one of the newest houses on the island but it is well-maintained and up-to-date. As always, Anna Maria was beautiful. Because of Covid and many people needing to get away from the cold it was more crowded on the island then it usually is in February. Nancy, the owner, was responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. I would definitely recommend this house!

Wonderful week!

We had a very enjoyable week at Sirenia by the Sea! All accommodation aspects were as described in the listing. The location was wonderful! Far enough in off the main road to be quiet but still close to the beach access and the main hub of activity of Pine street to be able to walk to many of the diners and shops. Would definitely recommend for families!

Great Family Home

The house is in a wonderful location that is close to everything. The layout was perfect for our family. We had an 87 old who stayed in the downstairs queen bedroom with its own bathroom with a walk-in shower and a door going out to the pool/patio. That queen bedroom also had separate heat/air so we were able to keep that room warmer for him which was so helpful. The only thing that would have made that area better would be to add some grab bars by the toilet and in the shower bc this is a great room for in-laws/handicap/elderly and I'm sure there are plenty who visit who would be aided by those inexpensive additions. Also on the first floor is a large master with attached bath. In the same end of the house as the master, there is a twin bedroom which uses the hall bath with a walk in shower (the only complaint is that you have to get wet to turn on the shower in that bath; a handheld would be a good replacement as you could hold it while you turn on the shower so you don't get wet). This part of the house is great for a couple with children. Upstairs there is another master bedroom with its own bath and walk-in shower. Also upstairs is a bedroom with 2 twin beds, attached bath with tub, and door going to a balcony overlooking the pool. There is also an office area with a sleeper sofa and sauna upstairs. The upstairs is another great area for a couple with kids. The house is great for multiple families- perfect for a family reunion or vacation with multiple families. The pool area with hot tub, tiki bar, hammock, and the canal was unbeatable. The canal feature of the home was the main reason we stayed and we are so glad that we opted for a canal house. Someone was fishing or kayaking the whole time we were there. We almost chose one of the newer homes with more stylish flair bc there were some that were so nice for about the same price. While this house is a little older, it has all the bells and whistles and lots of space for everyone! This lives like a ranch with an upstairs which was great and made things easier for our family. Beach is very short walk. One warning: the dock needs a new ladder so be careful getting in kayaks if you rent them. My daughter cut her leg wooden rung on the ladder broke. We used the metal ladder in the garage to get into the kayaks and took it out after each use; it was otherwise impossible to get in the kayaks as the barnacles/shells are like razors- be careful. Overall 5 stars. My family had a WONDERFUL TIME!

We are 2 close families that decided to take the plunge into Paradise together. Here we are pictured with the Stanley Cup during the NHL Playoffs! Not very "beachy", we know but it was the only one we had of all four of us together!
The families purchased this house in 2013 as our second of 3 properties on the island. It has been such a pleasure renovating it and adding our personal touches found in all of our "Sirenia Vacation Homes".

Why they chose this property

After much research we decided to vacation on Anna Maria in January 2011 to look for a beach house. We fell in love with the beautiful beach, great restaurants, boating and the Islanders themselves. Our favourite activity is to rent a boat and go shelling & snorkelling on a private Island. For us Canadians, the Island is easy to get to from the Tampa or St. Petersburg airports. We have young families and love that the Island is very close to Disney and Busch Gardens as well as the major sporting events in nearby Tampa. We love the fact that Anna Maria is extremely laid back and safe. Sirenia By The Sea is our second out of three properties on the island and as our past guests have told us 'we do it right!' providing our guests with every comfort needed for a stress free vacation.

What makes this property unique

Sirenia By The Sea's greatest benefit is it's location! It's the closest 5 bedroom, deep water front, canal front home to the Gulf of Mexico and it's huge! We are boat loving families that find the best way to enjoy Anna Maria is through water sports and of course boating throughout Anna Maria Sound and the Gulf. By having a large home that fits our extended family, we can share vacation time with the grandparents and the kids! The beach is a short stroll eleven houses down (1 block) and the free trolley located 3 doors down is perfect for an easy trip to the ice cream shop or the pier to see what the fishermen are catching.
