About this property
Trendy Black and White Bungalow in Culver City
**We only book the 1st of the month to the 1st.**
Enjoy this chic monochromatic bungalow in one of the most colorful parts of LA. The interior was created by an HGTV designer There's a sheltered daybed on the patio for cozy nightcaps before bed.
Please note that there is no A/C in the bungalow. It is few miles from the Pacific Ocean. The air is cool if you open the windows & turn on the ceiling fans. The nights are in the low 70s or 60s most of the year.
The space
Live like an Angeleno in your completely private bungalow and patio. Savor cocktails and appetizers by night under the twinkling lights. Take a private yoga lesson with LAs best Yogini Leticia G. Go to the beach and learn to surf or paddle board. Check out your favorite band or sports team at the Staples Center.
Here you're in the center of it all and LA is yours!
Expo Line metro is one block away and is a straight shot to downtown Los Angeles in one direction and the beach at Santa Monica's world famous Pier at the other end. Restaurants, wine bars, furniture stores, clothing shops, movies and art galleries are all walking distance, some famous ones like Father's Office are right across the street at HD Buttercup. Trader Joes and the beach are a bike ride away. The bungalow is centrally located in the center of Los Angeles, which makes getting around really easy, with access to the major freeways and proximity to UCLA, Sony, Silicon Beach and major hospitals.
Inside the bungalow you will find everything you need to feel completely at home during your stay.
In a fully loaded chef's kitchen, complete with dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender and washer dryer, you have all the amenities you need to whip up the perfect meal.
A comfortable king sized bed sleeps two in the bedroom. A twin sized mattress, Cloud sofa in the living room makes room for one more. High speed WiFi , the large flat screen TV with Apple TV so you can hook up your Netflix, News Channels, etc. and a desk for your laptop make working and playing easy.
Little luxuries like hotel linens, towels and bathrobes pamper you throughout your stay.
You are located 4 miles from the beach and in the coastal region of the city. There's no air conditioning, but you won't need it with the moderate days and cool nights. The rooms are flooded with natural sunlight, fresh air, and there are ceiling fans in both the bedroom and the living room.
Your hosts have lived in Los Angeles for over 30 years and can point you in the right direction to make your stay absolutely perfect.
Come see what it's like to live the California Dream.

We love this bungalow and hope you will too. We lovingly renovated this 1940s quintessential Los Angeles apartment. In it we showcased all the things that we think are the best about California living. We also included special touches that we discovered and enjoyed from other vacation units that we visited from all around the world. We know a lot about construction and real estate in LA, we own the top interior design and construction companies in Los Angeles. We selected this property because we knew we could make a little gem that would be affordable for people around the US and the world to come and enjoy the Los Angeles lifestyle.
Interaction with guests
We are a family of three who love to travel the world. When we're home in LA you can find us surfing at the beach, LACMA, the Getty, the Hollywood Bowl, the Greek, Red Diamond Yoga, Yabu Sushi, dancing away at the free concerts all over the city and at any of the live performances throughout Los Angeles. You might also know us from HGTVs the Real Designing Women where you'll see us transforming homes all over Los Angeles. Our daughter is a singer song writer who makes music videos. Collectively we've been in LA for over 50 years, and would be happy to steer you in the right direction about exciting and fun things to do in Los Angeles.
Other things to note
There is plenty of available permitted parking on the street. A permit is provided and located on the desk in the bungalow. Hang the permit on your rear view mirror. Please note the permit is only valid on the street of the bungalow. You must return the permit to the bungalow desk when you leave. If you do not return the permit, you will charged a $50 permit fee. Pay attention to parking signs and street cleaning days so you do not get a ticket.
