Great Stay!

House was as advertised. Beautiful scenery on back deck! We fully enjoyed our stay. Something note worthy is the hot water and water pressure! Showers and and master bath were fantastic!

Great place to stsy, great hosts.

My 4 siblings and I were in town for the funeral and decided to stay at the Rock River house. We used it as a base of operations from which to attend various events. The house was perfect for our needs. It had all the amenities we could want. The view of the river was amazing. And the deck was truly awesome. We enjoyed soaking up the sun and watching the ducks fly by. The only thing to note is that there is no hot tub (the listing says it has one). This was not a big deal for us but other other guests should probably be aware.

Rockford River House

Great place for our family to meet for Christmas! The listing said pets allowed but reservation was denied for that reason. We agreed not to bring our pets and the reservation was then confirmed. An issue with plumbing but the owner was quick to respond and it was fixed. One of the showers is warm only, not very warm, and takes awhile to get warm. Regardless, we had a great time and the view of the river was so beautiful! We would stay again.

Great River House

This is a great place to stay in Rockford! Very close to downtown museums and the Discovery Center as well as a short drive to restaurants and breweries. Overall, the home is very well maintained and communication with the host is quick and easy. Beds, bedding, towels, etc. all seemed very new and comfortable. And the best feature is easily the massive deck overlooking the Rock River. It’s worth a stay for the view- we spent our mornings and evenings on the deck watching all sorts of boats and various waterfowl on the river. It was a very relaxing stay.

River house

After a small glitch with Vrbo I contacted the host he took care of the issue and everything else was absolutely great, the house was extremely clean, and has everything that one needs for a nice getaway.
