This newly renovated SoCal 1950s family pool home is centrally located in the heart of Orange County, just 5.5 miles from Disneyland and nearby freeways, public transportation, airports and Amtrak train station to access the many attractions of So Cal such as our amusement parks, beautiful beaches, breath-taking desert communities, mountain resorts, Downtown LA, Beverly Hills and Hollywood, to name a few. Nestled in a safe, quiet, residential neighborhood you’ll be 1.5 miles to our nostalgic and thriving Downtown Fullerton restaurants, bars and shops as well as walking distance to our local Walgreens, Grocery Outlet, restaurants and shops.

The home’s downstairs floor plan offers two 2-bedroom / 1-bathroom areas separated by the living room and large kitchen, as well as a spacious dining area and large family TV room. Upstairs are two additional bedrooms and a shared bathroom. This floor plan is perfect for groups and families seeking to share a house while having 3 separate bedroom areas for some privacy. You will enjoy pleasant indoor temperatures with our central air conditioning and heating system.

BEDROOMS

Our home sleeps up to 12 adults and/or children plus an extra 2 children in the loft twin beds which hold up to 100 pounds. All 6 bedrooms are appointed with high quality linens, hybrid or foam mattresses and 43” smart tvs for streaming your own content in addition to luggage racks, dressers and laundry baskets for your convenience. Stored in each bedroom dresser drawers, you will find one set of bathroom towels and one pool towel per guest. Our washer and dryer are available for use and are located in the garage.

The first of 6 bedrooms has 2 full-sized beds and pays tribute to Orange County’s orange groves which once surrounded the neighborhood while our second bedroom with a king-sized mattress honors Leo Fender who created Fender guitars and amps here in Fullerton. Our third bedroom with a king-sized bed reflects our tranquil local deserts while the fourth with a queen and a loft twin bed (up to 100 lbs.) welcomes you to enjoy our local beach vibes. Upstairs you will find our fifth bedroom with a queen and a loft twin bed (up to 100 lbs.) which features vintage Disney art while the upstairs sixth bedroom with a king-sized bed welcomes you to enjoy our National Parks feel. Both rooms offer a lovely view of the backyard and pool. Please note that our 2 twin lofts are intended for small children up to 100 pounds only.

KITCHEN

Step back in time in our spacious retro kitchen which is stocked with all the basic kitchen appliances, cookware and dining supplies needed to have family meals around our kitchen booth, on our large back dining table or outdoor patio dining areas. Please see our photos for details of kitchen supplies.

BATHROOMS

There are two downstairs bathrooms, one with a large shower with grip handles, the other with shower / tub combo and grip handles. The upstairs bathroom has a single shower and all bathrooms are equipped with hair dryers, handsoap, shampoo, conditions and shower gel. NOTE: Towel sets for the bathrooms and pool towels are located in each bedroom.

LIVING / FAMILY ROOMS

Enjoy conversation together in our mid-century modern living room or step down into our giant back room together to sit at the large dining table overlooking the backyard pool and the family room with large sofa to take in a movie on our 64” TV. We also provide some board games and plenty of reading material.

The large indoor dining area offers a 8 foot dining table (extends to 10 feet upon request) and large window view of the pool, with a connecting sliding glass door to the outdoor patio for additional outdoor seating.

BACKYARD

Our private backyard patio is perfect for daytime relaxing in the shade or enjoying conversation on warm nights. You will find ample seating for lounging in the sun or sitting by the pool. Our 60+ year old orange tree also provides a beautiful canopy for shade and you are welcome to indulge in its delicious seasonal fruit! The sparkling pool provides a great cool down on hot days or a leisurely swim at the end of a long day of sight seeing. Please note that our pool is not heated but has an enjoyable temperature from the sun most of the year. Please also note that there is no lifeguard on duty and while we have a pool gate and fence for safety, you will swim at your own risk and are responsible for supervising children and other swimmers. Please be sure to bring your own safety gear for beginning swimmers.

There is a laundry area in the garage with washer and dryer available for your use.

To keep the premises clean and tidy, gardener and/or pool maintenance is completed once per week and may coincide with your stay.
To keep our property looking as clean and tidy as possible, our gardener maintains the grounds on Monday mornings most weeks or as weather permits.
To keep our pool sparkling clean, our pool service occurs weekly and is usually on Wednesdays for a brief time.
