Four vehicles only at home.
Lovely 4 bedroom home with bunk room (2 set of bunk beds) on 1st level, large kitchen/dining, living room and master bedroom on second level, two bedrooms and 'five o'clock' sitting area on 3rd level, along with screened in porch/deck off this level. Full size bath each floor. Privacy area on first level with six person hot tub, small bar and shower. Charcoal grill in yard for safety. All in excellent condition.

It's kitchen is large and has everything necessary to prepare fine meals. There are 4 TVs in home, plus Wireless Internet. A truly comfortable home away from home!

The beach is approximately 1000 feet, just a short walk for those who wish to enjoy getting a little exercise and at the same time view some of mother nature's work.

Rodanthe is central point to all the attractions on the outer banks, including The Wright Brothers Museum in Kill Devil Hills, the Aquarium and Gardens in Manteo; 5 Light houses located throughout the Islands, and Hatteras Village where one can ride the free car ferry to Ocracoke Island to enjoy many points of interest, including its quaint village.

It's great for those who not only want to get away from the hustle-bussel life style to enjoy the quiet serenity of the area, but at the same time not have to travel great distances to see the many historical sights the Outer Banks have to offer,

Beach Serenity is a Saturday to Saturday only rental during In and Peak Seasons. During Spring, Fall and Off Seasons, full weeks are also Saturday to Saturday; however, partial weeks are available during these seasons. Check in 5:00 pm/ Check out 10:00am ( We ask to please leave home clean as it was upon your arrival)

It is a non-smoking home. Pets (dogs only - maximum 2) are permitted at no additional charge. Pet crates required if pets are to be left unattended in home or on porches.

We urge those desiring to vacation on the Outer Banks, and considering Beach Serenity, to make their reservations early.

“Serenity” truly is what you’ll get!

We had a wonderful time here. The house was perfect and our family enjoyed it all, especially the hot tub and beach (which was only a five minute walk). The area was very quiet and the location was perfect, as we were easily able to take day trips up to Roanoke and Nags Head/Kitty Hawk and down towards Hatteras. We would 100% come back again!

Peace and Quiet at the Beach

My significant other, myself and our pug stayed at the house. It was very well maintained, had all the amenities, jacuzzi, two nice decks for relaxing and seeing the sunset and sunrise on the top deck. King size bed on the main floor was very comfortable. Kitchen had all the amenities for cooking meals at home. It was less than a 5 min walk to the beach as well. Just a note to bring sheets, comforter and blankets for sleeping and relaxing on the couch.

Family Vacation

We loved the house and the location to the beach was great. The weather was good and we enjoyed meeting some of the locals. The fishing was awesome. We would definitely love to come back.

Perfect place

The property is beautifully maintained with a large yard and shade trees. Multiple outdoor seating areas made it nice to sit in the sunroom when the wind was high. The house had every amenity we needed from kitchen supplies and beach items. We would love to return here.

Off The Beaten Path

Nice place, clean and close to the beach. It is hard to get everything on the list done that they want you to clean and be out by 10:00. It caused me anxiety, especially knowing I paid a cleaning fee too.

Wonderful home!

The property was absolutely perfect for our two families of four. There is plenty of space for everyone to relax and unwind. So many options between the sitting rooms and decks!! The hot tub was absolutely perfect in the cool mornings and in the evening! Due to the rain, we didn't get a lot of time in the yard but it is cute and private compared to most houses in the area.

Excellent property for excellent price

This is the third time we have stayed at this location. We love the space and closeness to the beach. There is plenty of room in the home with extra sleeping space if needed on the futon in the top floor. My kids love the multiple decks and the sun room is nice when the weather is a little cooler. The kitchen is stocked with the necessities plus more. The only thing we would add are some plastic plates and bowls for the kids to use to avoid accidently breaking the nicer things. There are plenty of TVs and games for rainy days and the hot tub is a definite plus.

Ocean Vacation

The house was wonderful! It had everything we needed for our trip. The house was just minutes away from many adventures. We loved the beach that was within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay! We love the location because you are in the middle of the strand and close to pea island where we like to bird. The house is good for couples bc of the separation of the bedrooms as added privacy. We had a power outage because of a nasty storm and Steve was quick to call utility's company and it was back on in an hour! The furniture, kitchen supplies, and hot-tub could use updating. We would stay in the home again. Ty Steve!

Holiday getaway

Enjoyed our stay!

The stay was nice and we really enjoyed the hot tub and short walk to the beach, the kitchen was well stocked and had most everything we needed to cook our meals, was very happy there was a kuerig. I dont think we should have had to wash the towels since we paid for cleaning services, it would have been nice to have showered the morning before we left instead of the night before and we couldnt eat a little breakfast before we left or have a cup of coffee because we couldnt dirty up a dish towel to clean the dishes. Other than that it was a nice house and would stay again.

Outer Banks Getaway

Relaxing Getaway

We can’t thank the owners enough for allowing my husband and I along with our big dog crew (Newfoundland and German Shepherd) to stay at this property. The pictures do not do the property justice. The hot tub was clean and so relaxing on the rainy days and the foot wash was nice to rinse sand off. While we would come back to this rental no hesitation there our a few things I’d point out to anyone consideration this property. 1. It is a lot of steps. 2 flights of stair to get to the main living area. Anyone bringing older dogs or dogs that have hip issues could have some problems or anyone elderly. 2. You are remote. We loved the remoteness of the property our dogs enjoyed their morning swims on the beach almost by themselves and we had no one on top of us when we would go later on. It seems to be a private area which we loved! This has been one of the best rentals we have had so far! The neighbors were so nice.

Outer banks experience

It was fine. The neighborhood was a little sketchy when you turn in the road but the house was fine. Rodanthe really doesn’t have much to offer in the way of activities or good restaurants. You have to drive 20 to 30 minutes to the grocery store depending on which way you go. The beach was beautiful. I would like to be able to adjust the temperature. It stayed on 71 but one of the hot days it went up to 73 for the evening. I like my place cooler than this thank goodness for the ceiling fans. But over all it was fine for where we were. It was nice they let you bring your puppy. It would be a good place if all you do is sit on the beach or fish.

we had a great family time, the weather was bad, didn't get to enjoy the beach much. The House was great for a family, we played games and cooked some amazing food in the well stocked kitchen. It was a great week in spite of the weather. Love the location too.

Wonderful Stay!

The house was just as listed. Plenty of room for a large family of 10. Parking was a little tight with a car, suv, and full size truck. Nice walk to the beach. Very quiet safe area away from the more crowded areas. Amazing views from the top deck. Hot tub was clean and plenty of beach chairs and toys for the kids. Would definitely stay here if we visit the area again.
