About the host
Hosted by Tasha Herbert

Myself and my Mum look after the Cottage and our guests. We're originally from Birmingham, where four generations sold up and moved to Tenbury Wells almost 20 years ago. As life goes on, we lost family along the way, leaving three generations. We have an annexe, that we always used as long term rental, however we've longed to venture out to create a holiday cottage. We're both very people 'persons' and wanted to show our beautiful cottage to others. When we're not greeting guests, my Mum is a Pet Sitter and I work in the Events industry, my grandparents are retired and my brother is a carpenter & builder. We do also have fury family, with 2 dogs, 1 cat, 2 chickens & 2 ducks. As much as we enjoy looking after our guests, we ask you respect our privacy, as we'd do the same for you. Please feel free to explore the garden & sit by the pond, as well as saying "Hello" to the chickens & ducks. Your cottage is attached to the main house however you have a private entrance & gated parking.
Why they chose this property
We moved to Tenbury Wells for a more peaceful life in the country-side. We're situated outside of Tenbury Town, surrounded by Common Land. Our house & the cottage is very much hidden from the main road, where you access it down a well maintained track. It's location is perfect for those wanting to explore the local areas such as, Ludlow, Leominster, Hereford, Worcester, Bromyard & Malvern. It's great for those enjoy walking and conveniently only a 10 minute walk to the local pub.
What makes this property unique
Our property is hidden away, yet not far from the real world. We provide free, secure gated parking, with the use of electric gates. In our grounds we have a large pond with nooks and crannies close by to explore. Our cottage is situated in a very quiet area, where the only noises you'll hear are the local farm animals and birds tweeting in the morning. We ask you enjoy the open plan living, dining & kitchen as well as the front patio & garden perfect to relax and listen to the birds. We want your stay to feel special, yet a home away from home. We provide your breakfast essentials such as, tea, coffee, milk, butter, jam & biscuits as well as all cooking crock & utensils. We'd like you to make use of what's offered on our Amazon Fire Stick, where you'll find Netflix, live channels (normal TV) & much more.
