Villa Arthur La Fortuna

Great property just 5 minutes drive from downtown La Fortuna and excellent location to visit all main attractions 5 to 20 minutes drive from the house. Modern house with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms with hot water, air conditioning throughout the house (Bedrooms, living room and kitchen areas), private pool, fully equipped kitchen, WiFi (100 megabytes), living room with smart TV and parking on site.

Air conditioning throughout the house (Bedrooms, living room and kitchen areas), you will be able to relax and cool off after your daily adventures or keep it cool if you want to hang out in the house.

Bedroom distribution:
Bedroom 1: King sized bed, A/C unit and private bathroom with hot water.
Bedroom 2. Queen bed and A/C unit - Access to full bathroom.
Bedroom 3. Queen bed and A/C unit - Access to full bathroom.

The kitchen is ready to be use and prepare delicious meals during your stay, in case you want we can get you a private chef during your stay (It has an extra cost); living room has a smart TV of 42 inches and an excellent WiFi service (100 megabytes).

There are surveillance cameras around the house, the one by the pool is not connected.

House is open style, you can close all areas only the pool and dinning areas are outside the house, is the rain forest so bugs will be around but not an issue.

Families will little kids always must be aware of them, the pool is open and the areas around the house are good to walk but with adult supervision.

We have an office in downtown La Fortuna, you can look us as The House of Tours where our guests for can come and we will provide a quick welcome information about the area, also we have excellent rates for all the tours in La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area, we are open everyday from 8 AM to 7 PM.

The office is located by the central park, central location and good parking area. We will be please to meet you :)

Once you book our property we will send you a detailed information with everything you need to enjoy your vacations in La Fortuna: tours, rental car options, transportation and much more.

We will be available every day 8 AM to 6 PM for our guests in our office and we have a cellphone number that works 24/7 in case of any issues or any information you need.

Awesome Views and Peaceful La Fortuna

It was a great property with a nice pool and amazing views. The location was very peaceful and easy to get to everything in La Fortuna quickly. The road up to the house (about 300m) is pretty rough.

We loved it!!

The keys for each door were a little cumbersome. But we figured it out and loved the property! It was safe and easy to find. It was perfect for our group of four! Location was ideal for being downtown and doing all the activities! Would absolutely recommend and stay there again!

Wonderful spot

Very cool locations with a lot of wildlife and very private. The views were great, unfortunately it was cloudy most the time and we couldn’t see the volcano. But when they cleared you could see the summit.

Great House

We liked the layout and the rooms had everything you needed (except there was no oven - but we didn't need that). Kitchen was fully stocked. Back yard was beautiful. Location was good but down a dirt road - close enough to town but not to really walk it. Overall enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for others.

Tucked away on quiet street with spectacular views of Arenal

House seems out of the way at first, but is nicely tucked away from bustle of La Fortuna, but still driving distance to town, restaurants, and activities on Arenal. Very minimalistic setup but has all the cooking basics. Washer/dryer (although a little different from what we are used to) was a good addition after daily hikes and sweaty/water activities. Three separate bedrooms (two share Jack n Jill bath) accessed by slider doors. Didn’t use pool but did hang outside on patio. Lovely views of Arenal, cows in the meadow directly behind the house, and lots of colorful birds.

Great house with a great view

Simple yet beautiful and comfortable house with a great view of the Arenal volcano. The swimming pool was great to have even though the water felt cold. All the basic kitchen supplies were provided - salt, sugar, coffee, cooking oil which we were glad for. Only a few small glitches- one of the bedroom sliding doors would open up if it wasn’t kept locked, there weren’t enough seats in the living room for more than 4 people, and the bathrooms couldn’t really be vented. But the downsides were minor compared to the many positives of the property. We would definitely recommend it.

Family Vacation

The view of the volcano from the property is stunning as is watching the horses graze at the property behind us. Property is very quiet and feel remote but only a quick 2 minute car ride into Fortuna they had plenty of restaurants and grocery stores. The communication from those host/property was fantastic and very helpful

This was the perfect place except for the beds. They are like sleeping on concrete. Just beware. Beautiful on everything else. Too bad the owner skipped out on comfortable mattresses. Everyone complained about the beds.

Family vacation

House was beautiful, but not ideal for families in my opinion because you feel rather secluded because of the layouts of the rooms. Not much sitting areas so not the most comfortable common area. Beautiful view of the volcano and near all the attractions in the area.

Good location! A quick drive to restaurants, shops and activities. The outdoor area and garden were beautiful! When the clouds cooperated, there was an amazing view of the volcano!

Excellent Tamarindo house

This small house was perfect for our family of 6. 3 bedrooms with on suite bathrooms and a living area with kitchen. Plus a pool and covered parking. It is an updated, hip house in a nice, safe area. 6 minutes from the La Fortuna waterfall and minutes from downtown Tamarindo. So many great restaurants and hot springs. We always felt safe and welcome while immersing ourselves in the local culture. The hosts were great and responsive. You cannot go wrong with this house.

We very much enjoyed our stay at villa Arthur. The layout of the house is perfect! Each room has privacy and a common area for everyone to gather. The house was spotless and secure. The property manager was quick to respond to any question or excursion booking. We would definitely stay there again!

Great outdoor living

We loved our view of the volcano from the backyard and all the outdoor living. I could sit by the pool and watch the hummingbirds in the morning. The separate bedrooms were great for our family situation. The road the house is on is gravel but it is close to town. We did not use the washer/ dryer or 1/2 bath. There was a code for the front door so we didn't have to carry our keys when we went on our excursions. All the bedrooms have separate keys because they all have outdoor access. The owner was flexible and very nice to deal with.

A Fabulous Vacation Stay

Beautiful property

This garden oasis was perfect for our mixed group of adults, teens, and our younger daughter, to easily sleep 6-7 people. The covered outdoor dining space and pool were a fantastic way to immerse ourselves in the beauty of Costa Rica, while enjoying a respite from the various sun, heat, and rain. Check im and check out process was a breeze, and it was an easy walk (about 15 minutes downhill) to the nearby restaurants and grocery store, with a very inexpensive, readily available Uber ride back up the hill afterward. All of our private drivers and excursions were able to pick us up right at the house without a problem. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Good place and value

Away from the city. A half mile to the nearest supermarket but a bodega down the street had beer and pop. Ecolodge nearby good bet for eating out. Enjoyed it overall.
