Good spot for a quiet getaway.

The cabin is very nice. The lake is smaller and very quiet, even though there are quite a few homes on it. The fishing was good. I was very disappointed in the fact there was no public boat access, and there was no mention of this in the property description. I would have not booked had I known this. I feel this was left off intentionally as the description included "boating" as an amenity. The cabin was clean, but we did find two dirty socks on the floor in the TV room, and one dirty sock in an upstairs bedroom. The hide-a-bed that was in the TV room had a bunch of acorns and bits of leaves inside it when we opened it, very disappointing. The place is nice but, the preparation for the next paying client's needs to be more thorough, I didn't like to have to clean at the start of my stay. One other thing, a listed amenity was a bunch of streaming options on the TV, unfortunately, to use the TV the client had to enter their own subscription info to view shows. I would give the overall rating of 6 out of 10.

Bike / Lake stay

This was a perfect place to host my husband and bike friends. The guys were able to hit the trails easily whenever they wanted and then plenty of room to rest, eat and sleep before doing it again. Plenty of room for everyone! We had EVERYTHING ( outdoor seating, indoor seating, towels, full kitchen, bedding etc..) we needed. Loved having a full grocery store super close, didn’t bring anything and was able to plan and buy meals daily so no hauling and no waste. The lake is beautiful and has great fishing off the dock. It is a private lake so no public boat landing or ability to put the small fishing boat on the lake, worked out because it was a bike trip not a fishing trip. GREAT place
