Carmen was a great host, arranged a taxi for us upon our arrival and gave very clear instructions on how to access the apartment. Apartment was very clean and comfortable. The street outside can be quite noisy at night, but other than that it was a great stay!
Bustling area near multiple good eateries and shops and a small weekend market. The street and the pie shop downstairs can get a little noisy. WiFi is nice. Perucho restaurant on the corner is nice and is open until 11.
We thoroughly enjoyed being able to explore Cusco and the Sacred Valley using this charming, well-appointed apartment in San Blas. It was very walkable to just about anything you would want to see in Cusco.
Our host was very responsive to any questions we had.
The only negative was some construction noise nearby that went a little later than we liked and started a little earlier than we liked, but that was no fault of our host.
I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend!
Beautiful 2 bedroom house in San Blas 🥰. We were within walking distance of everything and the property is really well equipped in terms of a kitchen. San Blas is full of little restaurants, cafes and shops and you're arond 15mins from the main square. We visited in December and it was cold outside at night, the wood stove however warmed the house nicely.
Carmen was a huge help in terms of logistics and recommendations - she sorted our airport shuttles, fire wood resupply and dinner recommendations. Would happily stay again 🤗again ❤️
We were happy to stay in this cozy place so close to the plaza and the shopping area. The host was always available and helpful when we had any questions. We look forward to returning someday and staying in this location again.
Great little spot in San Blas, the best area of Cusco. Cute bedrooms with a double and single in each. There is a nice en-suite bathroom on the 2nd floor. Both bedrooms have to use this bathroom.
The downstairs bathroom is difficult at best. No sink, technically in an outside hall and you have to slide behind the toilet to access the shower. Made it really a 1 bath. Main door faces onto small courtyard with not a ton of light. Bedrooms have skylights which is great. Note most houses don’t have central heaters. This relied on a wood stove on first floor.
Host is super friendly and responsive with local restaurant suggestions and making sure all is ok. We like L’Altier for coffee and Green Pointe for lunches.
Great value for $. Just know about the bathrooms.
**WARNING** HORRIBLE APARTMENT!!!! Don't stay here you'll regret it!
We have traveled the whole world and stayed at hundreds of places and this is by far the WORST place we have ever stayed at. Here's the list of everything that went wrong. These are the facts: 1- Host doesn't communicate well. 2- Place is gross and dirty 3-Smelled like pee 4- gave us wood for the fireplace that was too big to fit. When we finally got small wood the fireplace wouldn't heat the rooms up stairs so we were freezing the whole time. 5- There was either boiling or freezing water in the shower. Not warm. 6-Sky lights are in the bedrooms, so light comes in about five a.m , so thats one more reason you cannot sleep. 7- The Balcony door next to the main street in front has big cracks that let in all the carbon monoxide from the cars. Not to mention all the noise from the cars and people talking and yelling all night. 8-NO INTERNET (prior to booking we confirmed with the host that it had internet. She told us people were coming to fix it all the time, but they never came. She said we didn’t need to be there and then told Vrbo we did. She kept changing her stories as to why it wasn't woking. 9- Spiders everywhere. 10- we told the host about all these problems and her only solution was "more blankets". Host turned off the water. STAY AWAY! It's dangerous! We booked for 10 days and left only after avfew days to a good hotel.
We enjoyed our stay very much! The apartment was a perfect location! Walking distance to everything. Alejandra was a wonderful hostess. She even made arrangements to store our luggage after check out until we left for our flight. One thing to note, the master bedroom faces the street and you can hear everything. So if a party is happening outside you will hear it in the bedroom. If you want to sleep, it can be a little difficult. Other than that…. The apartment is fabulous.
Had a great time at this apartment in a trendy district near the square. Easily walkable to most of the main attractions, but lots of hidden gems nearby.
Wow! What a great find. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the Historic Center. Felt very safe. Lots of cute shops around and places to eat. The condo was spacious and well stocked and able to sleep my family easily. Clean and comfortable. Carmen, the hostess, was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend if you’re coming to Cusco.
I really enjoyed the wonderful location of this property. It was neatly tucked away in a vibrant area close to the main plaza. My favorite area was the master bedroom with the soaring ceilings with doors that opened up above the walkways for watching the city below. I appreciated the ability to easily connect with the owner who is very responsive.
This apartment is in a very good location. We were able to do a walking tour with our friend from Cusco. We thought we had a problem with the hot water and Carmen sent someone to check it out. But everything was OK. The Uber driver took us to the wrong street--one block away. It took us 10 minutes to find the right place. But we did and all was good.
