Great Stay.

Came to Murphy’s with some friends from HS for a girls trip. We had a wonderful time. The property was perfectly located right in town. Nice and clean, well equipped for our stay.

This property was perfectly located right on one end of the adorable Main Street. The home has been remodeled for comfort convenience and lovely nods to family and the homes history. Though centrally located, the home is quiet and private and absolutely my future go to for any Murphys stay!

Praise for Pop's House in Murphys

Right on Main Street and just on the cusp of old town Murphys, this hideaway is a delight. Fully renovated vintage home, with all the modernity of your real home, and with no negatives we could find. The owner, who grew up in the house, lives 5 minutes away for fast help but is hands off otherwise. Stay here for its amenities and proximity to the fun shops, great food and pleasant spots to taste a wide variety of the area's best vintages. A worry free blast in a great spot on a fabulous street took these two picky lodgers through a five night Thanksgiving spree not soon to be forgotten, despite the wine comas.

This older property is remodeled and immaculate. It’s also roomy and very comfortable. Everything downtown is walkable. We were in town for Irish days and the location was perfect for us. The owner was very reachable and personable. We would definitely stay again.

Great location and beautifully remodeled!!

We had a wonderful stay at Pop’s house!! The downtown location makes it perfect to walk right out the door and be anywhere downtown in minutes. The house is beautiful and everything is brand new! It has a fire pit in front that we enjoyed sitting at and watching people meander down Main St. Overall, an excellent choice!!

Wonderful!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Pop’s House. We could not believe the amazing location in downtown Murphys and truly enjoyed getting to walk to breakfast, the playground and all the shops. Cassie was so kind and responsive, and even had a vegetable peeler delivered for us when we realized the house didn’t have one She went above and beyond! The beds were cozy, towels soft, the kitchen well-stocked and everything was just great! I brought my own blackout curtains that we used for one window in the front bedroom and one in the master to create a fully darkened room (both rooms only had blackout shades for the larger windows and I need a fully darkened room to sleep). We would come back to stay in a heartbeat! Highly recommend!

Great location, comfortable house, loved front yard fire apparatus (my family & I sat around fire & shared stories), Beds were very comfortable. Olive Oil tasting was so much fun! One Big Issue: we all froze on our first night. The small heaters were not efficient in warming sleeping areas. The second night was a little better but the first night was miserable for all of us.

Perfect location!!

Our family loves this area and really enjoyed our stay!! The house was super clean, cozy and well appointed. We really utilized the great location and made the best of the weather. We played in the snow, hiked around Big Trees, went to Columbia and did the Moaning Cavern tour! My husband and son also spent a good amount of time at the baseball card shop across the street. Hoping to be back soon!

LOVE Pop’s House on Main Street!

This cute little house right in the middle of town will not disappoint! The photos on line are exactly what you get!! Such a cute, clean and very comfortable home away from home! Has everything you could ever need! The entire house is well stocked! Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are good size. We were a little worried about being right on Main Street but it was really very nice and surprisingly private. Sitting around the fire pit at night with a glass of wine and in the mornings with a cup of coffee was a great way to start and end our day. We traveled with our son and daughter in law and we had plenty of room and privacy in this home. You can walk just about anywhere you want to go and the locals in Murphy are like old friends. Sooo many wine tasting rooms and cute, quaint, little shops as well as plenty of places to dine. Food was great everywhere we went! Can’t say enough about our weekend. We will most certainly be back!
