Old World charm meets New World comfort in the middle of Nature.

Welcome this charming historical cabin!We are a secluded yet conveniently located property in Julian. The Cabin has been remodeled, but kept it’s old world charm all the same. Our interior space will make you feel warm and comfy as soon as you enter the front door. In winter, our traditional wood stove and our vintage gas stove will remind you of the times when life was slower. Our outdoor spaces will provide you with all the necessary tools for wonderful friend’s or family gatherings: a great patio deck for grilling and gathering, a heated table to enjoy a glass of wine during the cold season and a front bistro table and chairs to enjoy breakfast or a nice cup of tea and coffee, not to mention our front lawn to play some games or lounge under the trees. When you enter the property, you will see the wildlife and the beautiful woods, surrounding it. Stargaze at night on the lawn or the deck or enjoy a glass of wine while you grill on the patio, or even better: soak on our comfy Hot Tub and stargaze. Go for a hike on nearby hiking trails, or have a taste of the historical mining town of Julian, famous for it’s apple picking, pies, mining and Lillac Season.
Go for a tour at the Wolf Rescue Center in Julian.Take a walk in the surrounding woods. Finally, come just to enjoy peacefulness and winding down from a hectic life. Enjoy both nature and all that Julian and Lake Cuyamaca have to offer!I am sure you will love our little jewel of a Cabin!

Nice property with some disappointments
The Good: Very nice property - and we've stayed in many Julian cabins over the years. The Bad: Can be noisy during the daytime as it is perched over Hwy 78. MBR mattress soft and sags, consider replacement. The Ugly: Listing states "smart TV" but we were unable to connect with any basic or premium network (many of which we have at home). The owner responded "the signal is OK" then ignored us. So after reading much of the day, we had to read another 3-4 hours in the evening. It seems the owner should have at least explained what the problem might have been.

The propery owner pays attention to detail and there were many amenities. The cabin was clean, warm, and comfortable. It rained and snowed everyday the 5 days we were there except for Saturday.We didn't leave the cabin the first three days. The views are spectacular! We were happy and content.

The property was lovely. The night sky was incredible. Toys were provided for my toddler which was a nice touch. Only negative comment I can make is there were bits of kibble throughout the carpeting. Overall a great stay.

Very cozy and inviting cabin.
We felt instantly at home in this cozy little cabin. Beds were very comfortable to sleep in, and front room was very nice to sit in and relax with the family - plenty of comfortable seating options. Property is quiet. Julian is a quiet cute town, and even though the bedroom windows can see the main street - there was not any traffic to bother us. There is a cute little deck to sit on and do some amazing star gazing. The hosts were very nice - and responsive to all inquiries. Definitely a place to stay while in Julian.
