About this property

Oceanfront Cobalt Cottage- rooftop deck, generator, slide, & daybed swing!

Cobalt Cottage is a brand-new Oceanside escape on a special part of Eleuthera known as Whale Point. This part of the island is just a few hundred feet wide, separating a calm sandy harbor from the Atlantic, in fact from our rooftop deck you can see the turquoise Bottom Harbor, Harbour Island’s pink sand beach and the rocky Atlantic coast!

The Space
Cobalt Cottage has been designed to make the most of its location- from the kitchen, to the couch, and both queen beds, you can see the ocean! Outfitted with more square-footage outdoors than in, there is no shortage of options for sunsets, sunrises, sun bathing or a nap in the shade. From the lookout deck you can even see Harbour Island and the Bottom Harbor!
The space is perfectly outfitted for 2 families with children, or a group of close friends sharing the 2 Queen beds and huge bunk room! The front porch includes a private outdoor shower, and the back porch has a slide, in case the steps get old.

Guest Access
The whole enchilada!

Other things to note
Whale point is in North Eleuthera, convenient to both the Spanish Wells and Harbour Island docks, and a myriad of amazing beaches- Gaulding Cay, Twin Sisters, Ben Bay, Tay Bay, Surfer's Beach are all within 20 minutes, and there are other beaches beyond that that are worth the day trip!

Other amazing natural attractions- Sapphire Blue Cove, Preachers Cave, Queens Baths, Glass Window Bridge, Hatchet Bay Cave and Sweetings Pond are all within 30 minutes of the Cottage.

Laid back solitude
Loved the local Whale Point Beach, turtles galore and some fun fishing from the kayaks! Beautiful view of the Atlantic from the house, and easy walk to the calmer, turquoise water. The kayaks are nice and really made this place for us with the easy access to Bottom Harbor. Pittman's Cove for conch salad with local island vibe and Daddy Joe's for toasted coconut pina coladas were our favorites. We found the digital guide the owner provided very helpful.

A wonderful hideaway on Eleuthera
My family and I had a wonderful time staying at cobalt cottage. Adriane, the property manager, made the check in process smooth. He picked us up at the airport with our rental car and showed us some great local spots to get everything we needed for the stay. The location is beautiful, quiet, and near some great beaches and snorkel spots . The hanging bed was a very nice touch! We had a lovely catered dinner from Denise’s Delights with delicious fresh caught fish. They set a wonderful ambiance with fresh flowers. It was a wonderful experience during the trip. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Beautiful, peaceful vacation getaway
From having Adrian support us with getting a car to having a private beach for kayaking and quiet, it was just the getaway we wanted. The beds and pillows were perfect, the space was decorated beautifully, the full kitchen gave us everything we needed, and the generator kicked in when the power went out. This space is set up for fun in the sun and lots of water time. The best part? The porch couch swing... we spent most of our time there enjoying morning time and hang out. Highly recommend this out of the way getaway.

Amazing little hidden piece of paradise
We visiting June with a 2 month old, and kids ages 3, 5, 6 and 7. Also along were grandparents. We initially chose this house because it seemed to be accommodating to kids with the swings, slide, and the additional sodded, lush grass yard. I didn't do my due diligence in totally researching Eleuthera, as we had initially planned to stay in Spanish Wells. The property manager met us as soon as we got off the plane, and seemed to know exactly who we were with names. He arranged a rental SUV for us, and He drove us to the property about 20ish mins away (thank gosh, because it was getting dark, and as you get to whale point, it's pitch black dark on a gravel, pot hole road.) I was nervous at first, but then you get to these lush trees, heavily forrested & unexpected landscape- you pull into the drive and the house is undeniably adorable. Once you step out of the car, it's dark, but you can hear the roar of the Atlantic waves crashing behind the house. The house was as pictured, amazingly decorated & well thought out details from design to actual functionality. The linens were all great, the mattresses were so comfortable, they bought quality. The Atlantic is not swimmable behind the house but it's a beauty to watch & hear. The cove 5 mins behind the house was shallow, clear, and full of starfish and turtles. I felt very secluded initially, but then came to enjoy the total silence and pitch black remoteness of the area. The stars were amazing. Would 100% return.
