Downstairs apartment newly renovated creramic tile bathrooms,
fireplace in the living room.2 queen size beds plus a nice pullout sleeper in the living room. Can accomodate 6 adults. Porch has a dining area to the back yard. One does not need a car walking distance to the beach, downtown area movies bike rentals,playground for children. Our beach has new play equipment also. We have beautiful sunsets.Plese view site 3001777 also to view the studio apt.Site 3895818 to view the other upstairs 2 bedroom available.

Great location

Perfection!

Perfect property for a stay in SoHa. Sunset Manor is exactly as advertised, Barb is a great communicator and her attention to details is off the charts! Couldn’t ask for anything more, the property is very comfortable with all you could need for a short stay. Thank you Barb and family and see you again next summer!

Spectacular Experience

This was our second stay at this property and it was as spectacular this time as it was the first time. The property itself is so attractive and comfortable inside and out. The location is ideal~proximity to South Beach and downtown AND the desirability of a walkable, residential neighborhood. We would not change a thing.

Perfect South Haven getaway

It was our first time in South Haven and our family was so comfortable and settled right in to this lovely home! The location was perfect-we could walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Communication with our Host was easy and helpful!

Great location, close to town

Cute place in a great location; close to town and 2 blocks to South Beach. Well equipped kitchen and nice yard with gas grill in excellent condition and darling playhouse for children. Quality linens and towels and comfortable mattress. Felt like home.

what a great place!

We rented this marvelous house for a 2 night girls weekend to MI. The house, both inside and out, was one of the nicest places I've ever stayed! All the comforts inside, with great out door space, close to town and the beach -- we could not have been happier! The owner was easy to work with AND greeted us with wonderful muffins and a bottle of MI wine! Over the top! Thanks Barb for helping us make a great memory!

Great stay with little kids

We stayed mid June for 5 nights and had a fantastic time. Our 5, 3 and 1 year old enjoyed playing with the toys and our favorite spot was the screened in porch where we ate all of our meals. We also enjoyed sitting in the beautiful backyard with the kids and after the kids went to bed each night. The house is charming yet up to date in the kitchen and bathrooms. Barb was great to work with and very responsive to questions. The location was perfect. About 2 blocks to the beach, maybe 5 blocks to downtown and 5 blocks to kids corner. After arriving, we never got back in the car. For us it couldn’t have been a better location.

Losing interest

This property is very nice however the owner is now selling as a result of some bad renters over the summer so I think is losing interest. The TV and DVD did not work, but she tried to fix the issue by replacing the Bluray DVD but there seemed to be other issues which prevented streaming of Netflix/Amazon that she was not able to get anybody to fix so we were without this service. Great location and no issues with the property itself.

Family Vacation

We have stayed at this property several times with my sister and brother in law and have loved every minute of it. The house is a picture in a magazine and couldn't be more perfect. Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was clean and comfortable. We felt right at home quickly, finding everything we needed. Our family particularly enjoyed the screened in porch. The yard was very pretty and inviting as well. The house is at a great location, letting us walk to the beach and into town. We did opt to drive and park at the beach due to all of our family’s beach stuff, but it is walkable. Only downside was hearing neighbors upstairs sometimes which will happen at any shared space. We already booked again for next year!

I live just outside of the town of South Haven . I grew up on the East side of Michigan,moved to South Haven in 1980 because of
my husbands job. I am a dental hygienist doing fill in only at this
time of my life. We have 5 grandchildren. It has been a dream of mine for years to offer my home to travelers so they can enjoy our lovely town.

Why they chose this property

We love South Haven so much, there is a real peace here.The
lake is so beautiful that we wanted to be able to enjoy its amenities especially the sunsets.I love this house and am so excited to be
ab;le to renovate it so others can enjoy the area also.

What makes this property unique

The fact that one does not need a car is why our home is so exciting. The lake can be seen from the
front yard. There is always a breeze off the lake that feels so good.
The sunsets are so beautiful!
