About this property

Rustic Creek Cabin - 3+ Acres - Whitewood Creek - Mickelson Trail - Terry Peak!

Rustic Creek Cabin offers you the secluded Black Hills getaway that you're looking for, but is conveniently located just minutes from Terry Peak, Lead, and Deadwood. It's the perfect place to stay to experience all of the local attractions of the northern Black Hills!

Enjoying the outdoors is easy as this property offers you over 3 acres to explore! Perhaps you'd like to try hiking the tree covered hillside to the east or fishing Whitewood Creek which borders the property to the west. Or maybe your thing is just relaxing with a cold drink and taking in all of those beautiful views, which you can easily enjoy from one of the new Trex decks present on all 4 sides of the cabin! Like a good cookout? Well you're in luck as we've provided a propane grill and a Blackstone griddle as well as enough patio furniture so that you can maximize your time outdoors.

Prefer to hang out indoors? Also a great choice! Our fully remodeled cabin will give you a bit of that rustic feel, with plenty of knotty pine and wood accents throughout. Of course we still want you to feel pampered, so you'll find plenty of modern conveniences as well, such as cell service, Wi-Fi, and plenty of TV's equipped with Roku's so you can take advantage of all your streaming services.
Our three bedroom, two bath cabin is equipped to sleep up to 10 people, so feel free to bring some friends to share your experience with! (No pets, please)

If you're looking to experience the Mickelson Trail, you've also made a great choice as you're only steps away from trail access and just one mile away from the Englewood Trailhead.

Perhaps ATV's / Snowmobiles / Motorcycles are your thing? Great! Some of the best trail riding in the country exists in the Black Hills. We have room to park your trailers on our property, and you'll find trail access nearby! We're also only 2 miles off the highway on county maintained roads, so no crazy driving skills required to make it to our cabin. We do, however, recommend AWD vehicles in the winter as the last section of our driveway is a little steep. You can always park on the lower portion of the property and walk up the driveway to the cabin if you feel more comfortable!

So, now you've read this description and looked at the pictures. Intrigued? We thought you might be. Go ahead and book your stay today!

Deadwood Trip

This was a great place to stay, it is off the beaten path a bit but we didn’t mind that at all. Very peaceful. The host has added many nice touches, nice soaps, towels, bedding. Very comfortable!

Beautiful

Beautiful property, home and scenery! We had a group of 8 and We brought our side by sides to ride the trails. The days got away from us because there was so much to see. Communicating with our host was so easy! I would highly recommend this property.

Postcard Views

We selected this place as a base camp for the grandkids and family staying with us as we visited the local monuments. The cabin has 3 floors (one floor is a loft that the grands adored)! There were plenty of games in the cabinet! The wrap-around porch had amazing views and was extra enjoyable to grill on, watch the local critters, and hang out in the hot tub.. There were plenty of dishes, pots & pans, baking trays, and a fantastic smart toaster. I was even impressed with the basket of hair tools that included a blow dryer! The hosts were very helpful and checked in a few times. We loved this place so much! Such a gem!

About the host

We love this property...it truly is our escape...our home away from home. We are excited to share this little slice of heaven with you! Please care for our place as you would your own. It's very special to us!

Why they chose this property

We wanted to be close to town but far enough away to feel secluded, and this cabin certainly accomplishes this! Situated on a dead-end road, traffic is minimal and the sounds of nature dominate the area. You'll hear the bubbling of the creek across the road, and the sounds of birds chirping will give you peace.

What makes this property unique

Our cabin doesn't look like every other cabin out there! The gambrel roof style creates an interesting interior ceiling profile. We've taken steps with the recent remodel to carefully blend the rustic and modern.
