We had a lovely stay. I think it was the best stocked kitchen I’ve been in yet and the bedding was so comfy for winter (I need to find out where they get those pillows - they’re heavenly). The place is misleading from the outside but much more spacious than it looks on the inside. We would certainly return!

Memorable

Armand and Olivia could not have been better hosts. The accommodations had everything we needed to have a comfortable and relaxing stay. Any questions were promptly answered and addressed. The only thing left for us to do was enjoy our time together. We will remember our visit fondly as a time when our family got to be with each other and relax at a very special place.

Nice house, needs maintenance

I want to start with the good! Cozy home, nice neighborhood, easy check in. However if you are staying in winter be ready for a cold stay. The bathroom in the primary does not heat up at all! Also when we checked in, the home felt like it hadn’t been lived in for awhile. It was dusty, stale, and spiders and cobwebs were everywhere! Did not like that. Also the drains in showers and sinks barely drained! Towels had stains and felt a little dirty. Just a heads up for next guests.

Clean and comfortable

We only stayed here two nights because we were commuting into NYC for sightseeing and had tours booked in upstate NY. Wish we could have stayed longer or at least made use of the space more. Everything was stocked nicely for being a true home away from home. Extremely comfortable beds and very spacious for two couples.

Clean, comfortable, friendly and helpful

The house is as cute as the pictures show. It's clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. Everyone in our group slept well each night. Everything is clearly explained, both in the book that is for guests and also through the hosts communication. Armand and Olivia were in contact throughout our trip. They provided very helpful tips and suggestions for what to do in the area along with an open invitation to ask questions or provide feedback. Although, we really couldn't think of anything missing, (They provide everything we needed, plus some things we didn't even think of) so we had nothing to suggest. Our group of 4 are very thankful to have stayed here. It helped our trip to one of the most memorable trips.

Lovely cozy getaway!

We were very happy with our stay in this cozy home nestled in the New York/New Jersey area! It is very evident that the owners take great pride in their home…They were very prompt with their communication and made sure that our needs were well cared for during our stay. The area is beautiful & was even lovelier during the gorgeous fall season! We took a walk through the neighborhood & enjoyed the charming & beautiful views. The beds were very comfortable & the fire pit provided such a nice evening activity. Thank you for a great stay! We all enjoyed it very much & are thankful for our cozy home base during our trip!!

Cozy get a way

When we arrived the home was very easy to get to and there was ample parking. The instructions for the key was straight forward and the communication around this was great. We walked in the front door and we could tell we made the right decision on booking this home for our trip. Modern, clean and relaxing were our first impressions. We have a 3 year old and a small dog and this accommodated all of our family. We are looking forward to booking this house again next year!

Relax Explore Enjoy at this wonderful property!

Nestled in a quiet lake/mountain community, this lovely, spacious cottage is sure to please! We recently enjoyed a wonderful 5 night stay which allowed us to explore and enjoy the area lakes and hikes and visit with family in near by Passaic County. Hosts Armand and Olivia are wonderful and the property is pet friendly too!

Quiet, clean and comfortable stay

This charming lake house was exceptionally clean and modern with beds more comfortable than the Hilton hotel we also stayed at during this family road trip while driving up to the NJ/NY area. We picked this location because it was close to family we have living in the area and would happily book again in the future. The hosts are great communicators and the fees, though pricey, covered all cleaning so check-out was a breeze compared to Vrbo rentals we've booked in other locations in the past. Everything was worthy of a 5 Star Stay with the exception of the dishwasher being broken upon arrival.

The drive to the home is a picturesque journey through lush greenery, setting the tone for a tranquil retreat. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a vibrant yellow door that exuded warmth and hospitality. The kitchen boasted a comprehensive array of amenities, ensuring every culinary need was met. The spacious living area featured a large TV screen, perfect for family movie nights, and a selection of board games for some old-fashioned fun. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This lovely little home is well appointed, very clean and so comfortable. Great kitchen/living area. Comfy sofas and large screen tv. Clean, Modern, Cozy Getaway

We enjoyed our stay. This was our first time booking through Vrbo. We were very please with the cleanliness of the property. Heat worked very well. Internet was great no problems. Convenient to all Bethel facilities and New York City. Owners were quick to respond and provide solutions to any concerns, went above and beyond.

Excellent, relaxing stay!

We had an excellent time staying here. The house was very clean and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. The decorations for the holidays were adorable and made the stay all the more enjoyable. Olivia and Armand were the perfect hosts and were always very fast to respond and left very clear directions for the home. We would definitely come stay again if we’re in the area!

Great place to relax and unwind

The house was very nice and comfortable. Open floor plan for the kitchen and living room made for a nice living space, while the bedrooms were located down the hall for privacy. The master bath has a very nice soaking tub too. The location is very close to the lake, within walking distance.

Quiet, Clean and comfortable

This little house checked all the boxes. We were only there for one night, but were wishing we could stay longer. It was incredibly clean, the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and the beds were super comfortable. Would definitely recommend this spot.

PERFECT location! PERFECT hosts! PERFECT stay!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Armand and Olivia were super awesome hosts and by far, the best we’ve dealt with. Everything was so organized and on point…you name it, they had it. Need to know where to find the keys? Refer to the picture of the property you rec’d before your trip (which clearly shows where it’s located and how to access). Need to know how to work the AC/Heating units? Refer to the steps (which clearly has all the steps). Need to know how to work the TV, fireplace, ambient lighting, etc? Refer to the steps they leave you (clearly indicating how to work those). This was like a one stop shop and a lot was provided. Goodies in the fridge, coffee (the GOOD kind), linens, washer/dryer (with detergent - who does that?), FULL kitchen, including every single gadget you would need to make breakfast, lunch and dinner, handful of board games to use during the stay, and much more! We were absolutely floored when we checked out the place the first night. The place itself was SUPER clean and ORGANIZED. 15k stars with this alone. Besides having a 5 STAR location, Armand and Olivia were super attentive, responsive and, most of all, truly fair and willing to work with you. They even allowed us to bring 2 extra guest (mother and aunt) and have them stay our last night there. They could have said NO, they could have charged us. But, they said YES and didn’t even care to charge an extra dime. Outstanding. Thank YOU Armand and Olivia. We’ll be back!!

Lovely Cottage

The cottage is quaint from the outside, yet with a very up-to-date interior! Great kitchen, super comfy beds, fantastic walk-in tile showers and deep-soak tub. Luxurious and simple, both. The hosts keep such nice touches! They stock the fridge with some staples, almost all organic (which we so appreciate). The kitchen had all the items we needed to cook our meals. The outside patio was fab, too. They even decorated for Fall and Halloween! The area is quaint, a classic recreation area which has new life as well. One mile from the NY border, the Appalachian Trail, only maybe 6 miles from lovely and historic Warwick, NY and the magical Pacem en Terris created by artist Frederick Franck. And, just 25 minutes to the Tuxedo New York Renaissance Festival. We found it easy to access the Hudson Valley, the Catskills, and NYC would be easy as well. Highly recommended!!

Very cozy home

Host is very interested in making a smooth and pleasant stay for her guests.
