With 2 bedrooms and one and a half baths, it comfortably sleeps 6. The great room, with pull out couch, working gas fireplace, eating area, and fully equipped kitchen, all have sweeping views of the lake. A private dock is available on the property for renters use. Location is on the main chain of Lakes for easy boat access to Restaurants. *No Parties or large gatherings * .

Comfort Cottage is just a short walk to Turkeyfoot Lake Golf Course and a short distance from restaurants, bars, the metro park, farmers market and shopping; minutes from Firestone Golf Course, and convenient to Canton as well as Cleveland.

The house was very well maintained and notes were placed around the house for information needed . The view was spectacular and the landscaping was beautiful . I would recommend this home for a small family !

We enjoyed our stay but were unable to contact host re days to put trash out and the fact that the TV in main room had no sound. Also it would have been helpful to know beforehand that second toilet was in basement with very steep stairs for us 85 year olds.

Such a cute place to stay. The deck was so amazing. Absolutely beautiful view of the lake. The stairs were not bad at all to navigate. The dock worked perfectly for our Bass Boat. Quiet neighborhood, nice neighbors. Had everything we needed.

Quiet retreat near Akron
We really lucked out on this rental on the lake. We needed to be in Akron for work and were trying to find something quiet and peaceful. The location is fantastic - this end of the lake is very quiet (at least in spring) and the little neighborhood is really nice. Lots of waterfowl and other wildlife too. Our only disappointment is that the golf course is being developed so all the towering oaks have been cut down and there were trucks and grading equipment busy in the area. We'd return in a heartbeat.

The property was as described. Very clean and comfortable and close to everything the area has to offer. The views were beautiful! We saw Geese, Ducks, squirrels and deer. We will definitely return.

Great Location and Very Responsive Property Owner
The location was great, with extremely friendly neighbors. An issues with the Air Conditioning system arose, just prior to our stay and the property owner was transparent and accommodating. I would definitely stay again.

Lakefront getaway!
A little piece of paradise @ PLX. The location is stellar & having a dock for our boat was priceless. We enjoyed all of the beautiful landscaping & the deck was amazing! Ate at Laka’s in the lakes, Guiseppes pizza, Blue Iguana & Danos. Fished & boated while celebrating our Anniversary & my Birthday. Would definitely stay here again! Old school charm comes with a few glitches, but nothing that interfered with out great time♥️ Note to the handyman: upstairs toilet had some issues with the water running too much.

Peaceful Thanksgiving Getaway
Overall trip was relaxing. Outside area is lovely with a large deck and dock with plenty of wildlife. Main level of house is fine but could use some cookware updates. Also I do appreciate a hot shower but water needs to be adjusted as it was scolding hot. Loved the fireplace and large TV. The laundry situation needs improving as the stairs to the basement are very steep and dangerous.

All American Soap Box Derby
We stayed at this property while visiting for the All American Soap Box Derby. The property was 15 minutes from the track. Great location. Beautiful neighborhood. The girls loved it. They enjoyed fishing off the dock and Kayaking. We enjoyed the beautiful deck. The flat top grill was perfect for making delicious breakfast in the morning out on the deck. Would definitely stay at this property again and my daughter won FIRST PLACE for the Local Stock All American World Championship which made our trip all the more amazing!

Great place….. lot’s of weeds by the dock.
Great little spot. It was nice for a close getaway! Everything was as they said it was. Pretty much. My daughter caught her first fish from the dock. Lot’s of goose poop by the water and dock! There is no direct access to the water with a trailer and boat. If you have a kayak have two people. The house was very clean. I left it the way I arrived minus bedding and towels. (I left them in the laundry basket to the left of the kitchen sink on the bench). I have pictures.

Beautiful spot for the small get away
This was small get away for a spring brake. The house was beautiful. We loooooved the lake. My hubby and son was fishing most of the time. It wasn’t much of a fish but the quietness and birds chirping , beautiful weather was just what we needed. The house had everything what we needed. Thank you for beautiful home.

Very nice. Very clean. Great lake and golf course views.
Enjoyed the gas fireplace immensely. Even the uneven, pinewood floors that creaked added a special charm. The views of the lake, the geese, the ducks, the swans were wonderful to wake up to in the morning. The house was well-stocked with all things would need and then some. We will certainly consider returning. Great for family or friends get- togethers. The heater in the main bedroom was not operating during our visit, therefore the 4 stars.

What makes this property unique

The Great Room has beautiful hardwood floors, wood beams and a big stone fireplace, that makes for a cozy feeling. On either side of the fireplace are huge windows that look out onto the lake and golf course. The house is on a quiet area of the lake with no through traffic. Herons can be seen in the early evening, as well as other birds and wildlife through the day. The New Deck and Dock are fantastic. It is utterly charming!
