Recently renovated unit in popular Sunstone lodge has a gas fireplace, all-new living room furniture (including leather sofa-sleeper & oversized chair), comfortable king-sized bed in private bedroom, TVs in each room, and new state-of-the-art kitchen appliances (electric cooktop/range, microwave/convection oven, and refrigerator). Kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots, pans, utensils. Everything you need for cooking and enjoying meals in the dining area or outdoor balcony is yours in this home-away-from-home. This condo has 560 square feet of interior space and sleeps up to 4 people, with indoor heated parking for one vehicle (height restrictions apply). No additional guests, and no smoking is allowed on the premises (including outdoor areas) per Lodge property management restrictions.
No dogs, cats, or other guest pets are allowed. per Lodge rules and town of Mammoth ordinance.

The complex common areas provide a spacious and comfortable gathering area with fireplace on the ground floor, plus secure and heated underground garage parking area (1 vehicle), elevator access, pool, jacuzzi, new outdoor BBQ grills, 24-hour fitness room, laundry area with convenient credit card or app payments, and free guest ski lockers just steps from the ski/snowboard trails above Eagle Lodge. Condo complex doors have security locks, well lit entrances.

Another great stay
Randy is an excellent host — very detailed and responsive. The unit is top floor of Sunstone, so no tromping of ski boots from above is a definite plus. True ski in and ski out to Eagle is easy and convenient. Underground parking garage makes life easier for loading and unloading. Linens and towels are nicer than many hotels, and kitchen extras (coffee fixings, sandwich condiments, cooking spices) are very much appreciated. Nice balcony with great views. Will stay again.

Great Time at Randy's place at SunStone
We spent three nights at Randy's condo. The condo was clean, well furnished, and located just a few steps from Eagle Lodge. It is true ski-in-ski-out. Rand was very welcoming, available by text and phone, and provided us with extensive guidance and directions. Highly recommend.

Great family stay - ski in/ski out
The apartment was well-appointed (nicer than even the pictures), thoughtfully stocked with everything to make a stay comfortable (lotion, tissue, condiments, cooking utensils, emergency light, entry mats etc.). Our friends booked directly through Sunstone, and this apartment was much nicer than theirs. The communication with the owner was excellent, and they responded quickly and made themselves available 24/7. The view was magical, and the location was truly ski in/ski out, with an entrance to the building right off the slopes. The only feedback I could offer is that the beds were softer than our personal preference. But would definitely stay again and thoroughly enjoyed this comfortable home base.

Clean and well stocked property just above the Eagle ski lift. Super easy to ski in and ski out, even for beginners.Short walk up from Eagle lodge as well if needed (my daughter missed the last lift up and had to hike up the hill).I'd definitely stay here again

My husband and I stayed in Randy’s condo for a week in January. The condo was very clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The ski in/ski out was especially nice with the ski locker on the ground floor (lock included). Randy was available 24/7 and his instructions for check in and check out were very clear and detailed. We would definitely stay there again!

Ski in / out Sunstone condo at Mammoth
Our family stayed in this Ski in / out Sunstone condo at Mammoth over Christmas break and had a great time. The location is very convenient - right above Eagle lift so you can ski directly from Sunstone down to the lift. Ski lockers are on the ground level and fit 4 sets of skis / poles. The condo itself is super comfortable and has a well equipped kitchen. We were able to prepare most of our meals in the condo - the appliances are new and work flawlessly. It helped that there were basic pantry items, so we didn't have to stock up on spices, cooking oil, etc. The wifi network worked pretty well. We were able to do work and stream video without issues. The east-facing view made for some pretty sunrises over the mountains. The condo common areas were nice as well. The hot tub was a popular apres ski spot and the large hearth / fireplace and couches were cozy. The garage had plenty of parking and fit our SUV with a ski box on top easily. Randy was an attentive host. Check in / out instructions were very clear and he was available by text if we needed anything. Overall a great place - we'd stay again!

Great little place for a getaway.
My son, wife, and I went for a long weekend getaway and stayed in the condo for 3 nights. It was very nice and clean. We had a great view and the host was amazing. The whole process was very simple to get our enclosed parking structure pass and gate keys and room combination. The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with necessities. Would recommend 100%.

Enjoyed our stay at this condo. The owner Randy is very easy to get ahold of and quickly responded to any questions both before and during our stay. Bed was comfortable which is important to me. Ceiling fans in the bedroom and living room and a couple more portable fans should the need arise. Everything you need if you want to cook in. New kitchen appliances. There were a number of thoughtful extras throughout the condo ( shampoo, conditioner, body soap, coffee, tea, creamers, jelly etc.) We especially enjoyed the outdoor deck and the beautiful views. Perfect for our fall get away! We look forward to returning in the future.

...with a killer view. The condo was well furnished with everything that we needed, all in good condition. The unit is on the third story, but the building has an elevator that always seem to be waiting for us when we needed it. Other reviewers comments are accurate. Randy was very attentive. Million Dollar View
We have stayed at this condo several times during the summer and fall, and look forward to future trips. The condo is very comfortable, and well stocked and maintained. The balcony has nice patio furniture and offers great views of the sunrise, community pathways, and night skies. This has become our #1 choice for our trips to Mammoth.

Fall Colors!
Had a wonderful, peaceful and quiet stay in Randy’s condo. We loved the area the lodge was at, behind Juniper lodge so was much quiete than places closer to the main village. Randy is a great owner, providing easy to follow instructions and also easy to reach through text/phone. We could tell that Randy cares about his guests because he provided extra amenities (makeup wipes, toothbrush holder, condiment packets, ziploc bags, coffee, etc…) that I haven’t seen staying in other places. Staying in Mammoth allowed us to drive to the Bishop Canyons and Rock Creek areas for some beautiful fall colors! New appliances and new furniture throughout. We loved the balcony facing the mountains so we saw the sunrises and sunsets from the condo. Would definitely stay here again!
