Clean and full of mid-century charm, The Wine Cottage is a 5BR/3BA getaway near Nelson County’s top wineries, breweries, and the Blue Ridge Tunnel.
Take in beautiful mountain views, unwind by the private backyard fire pit, and enjoy a peaceful escape just minutes from the best of Virginia Wine Country!
You'll be interacting via TEXT directly with the owners, but not in person unless needed.
The neighborhood is quiet and rural. 0.9 miles to Veritas, and ELEVEN wineries/breweries/distilleries within 5 miles! 15 mins to Humpback Rocks and Jack Albright Loop (plane crash site!). 1.5 miles to Afton Tunnel!
There are three keypad entry doors to the property.

We named this property "The Wine Cottage" because it was our first Nelson County vacation rental, and it remains one of our favorites. From the distant mountain views in the front yard to the private, wooded backyard and unique rock vein beside the house, this home is full of natural beauty and timeless 1950s charm.

We love the back yard privacy in the woods, but maybe the rock vein is our favorite. Climb to the top for the best views!
