Waterfront Cottage with Private Beach
Our cozy retreat is a rustic, classic Plum Island cottage that sits on The Basin, with a private beach and stunning west facing sunset views over the water. The ocean trail is a block away, and you can be sitting on the beach in 5 minutes. For a fun bit of city life, downtown Newburyport is a 10 minute drive. Our home is fully furnished with Fire TV televisions in the living room and in the master bedroom, a well stocked kitchen, two bedrooms and a screened in wrap around porch facing the basin. All linens and towels, and 4 beach chairs are provided. The indoor bathroom has toilet, shower and sink, and there is another shower located outside. Newly installed heat pumps (living room and each bedroom) provide year-round heating and air conditioning. There is parking for four vehicles.

We are a bi-coastal family having raised our kids in Newburyport and family both east coast and San Francisco. We love spending time at our Plum Island cottage and enjoy sharing it with others when we are not there.

We feel our cottage offers the best of both worlds with sunrise on the ocean beach just a five minute walk away and pictures sunsets in your backyard every evening.
