This charming old Florida 2BR/1BA cottage is located across the street from the Bay and just doors away from the Rod-n-Reel Pier. Enjoy the Bay Breezes from the large screened lanai. Water access is right across the street through a tropically landscaped pathway. Bayfront Park and Beautiful Bean Point beaches are close by. The quaint shops and restaurants on Pine Ave are nearby not to mention food and drinks at both the Rod-n-Reel Pier and the Anna Maria City Pier.

This cozy cottage has a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher and microwave. Recent updates include new flooring, new kitchen cupboards and stainless appliances. The bedrooms have a queen size bed and two double beds. For your convenience, there is a Washer/Dryer onsite. Non Smoking Unit.

Traditional AMI
We love trips to AMI. This rental is the classic/traditional charm that we love. The location to bean point is ideal and great for viewing incredible sunsets. Right across the street is Rid and Reel with beautiful sunrises.

Great location
Property in a great location, clean. Could use new doors, gaps, or strips along edges of doors to help with AC. Had everything we needed for our stay and we would stay here again in future. Management company was very accommodating and friendly and even allowed us to check in earlier. Thank you again for the great service and stay.

Rental review
The property is in an excellent location as close to Bean Point and the Rod and Reel Pier at the north end of AMI. The property was functional despite being quite old and dated. Property positives: The sofa seemed new, extremely comfortable, in a beautiful white leather with automatic adjustable footrests. The washer / dryer seemed new and of decent quality. The kitchen was well equipped and perfectly adequate. There was ample supply of towels, for the beach and the bathroom. Property negatives: The bathroom was small, however obviously in line with expectations from when the property was built. The lighting could be improved (at little cost!), some lights did not work at all, such as in the bathroom and a number of table lamps. The ceiling light above the kitchen needs clearing of dust / debris / dead insects. The beds were quite dated and a little uncomfortable, at little expense newer beds would enhance the look and feel of the property.

Needs Some Work
The property overall was fine for the cost. The location and communication were good. It is hard to tell if the refrigerator was throughly clean, especially the door seals. It either needs a deeper cleaning, or needs to be replaced. We did not use the stove or oven so can't speak to that. The flooring definitely needs attention due to broken and/or uneven tiles. I would also suggest sealing open cracks in the foundation. It was hard to tell if the cracks in the corners of the master bedroom lead to outside, which made me a little uneasy about the possibility of snakes or other critters getting in. Lastly, I would recommend a way for renters to access their streaming subscriptions. We were unable to figure out how to access Netflix or Amazon Prime so that we could sign in to our accounts. Again, for the price, it was sufficient for myself and my friend, two female "crackers" in our 60s. Someone not familiar with how weather causes issues with old construction might not be as happy. Thanks and will definitely be back to AMI.
