Improvement Recommendations

Property was great. Size of rooms were really good. Grounds were well kept along with pool and hot tub. Balcony overlooking golf course was very nice. Only improvements that we would recommend were: bar-b-que burners need to be replaced, propane ran out so needed to be replenished so should have bottles full upon arrival of guests, front door thresh hold seal at bottom of door needs to be added as big gap for bugs to enter, big oil stain on master bedroom sheets that was noticeable and not eye pleasing , big obvious dark stains on both carpets in bedrooms which made one wonder if carpets were very clean, showerhead in 2nd bedroom shower needs to be replaced as was very harsh water spray. Overall property was very well kept and would come back again and would recommend to others for sure. Just a few little things as noted above that would help improve the overall look and stay in property.

Place is awesome

This condo is awesome. Off the beaten path , quiet, huge 2bdrm 2bath , great pool, great view, a lot of space to stretch out and everything you could ask for in the kitchen and with the beach gear etc. We are here in Oct. it’s hotter than snot in Kona and this place has no AC. Not even a split Unit. It’s hot. Like really hot. Not sure how it would be in the dead of summer. Luckily there is a pool and fans but if you don’t do well in extreme heat not sure how you would do here. The beauty of the condo makes it easier to sit and sweat which is fine. There was one night that was unbearably hot. I would stay here again and be choosy with my dates. This building is 1980s built and from what I saw none do the units have AC but I am not sure. Other than that it was epic but it was hot.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented many condos in Hawaii and this was the most well stocked and comfortable unit ever! The bed is alway my worry but both beds in this unit were very comfortable. There were plenty of towels, beach amenities, and soaps (like laundry detergent, shampoo, etc.). The kitchen was also very well stocked with quality cookware, knives, spices - things that make cooking easy and enjoyable. The condo was nicely furnished inside and on the lanai. The lanai was a great place to enjoy meals, sunsets and watch occasional golfers - it was very private and serene. Our elderly parents stayed with us for a few days and the fact this was a second story unit with no stairs to enter from the parking lot was quite a bonus for us. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Punahele E202 and look forward to staying again soon!
