Summerville gem

We stayed at Charleston street cottage with our adult family. It was very comfortable with a beautiful front porch. It is a quick walk to downtown Main Street for shopping and restaurants. Easy access to highways for all of the Charleston must dos!

Beautiful Historic Summerville

We loved this property. The home was beautiful, the furnishings, the location. On a quiet street in downtown Summerville with gorgeous trees. The porch was my favorite area perfect for relaxing. It is very close to downtown Summerville, a nice area to walk around. The house was stocked with everything you need if you want to cook. I would highly recommend this stay.

This lovely home is nestled in a quiet neighborhood in walking distance to Azalea Park and downtown Summerville. There are shops and restaurants nearby. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds comfortable. Excellent communication with owner as we arrived during a very rare snowfall.

Southern Charm!

We were in Summerville for a wedding. The VERBO was easy to find and a charming place! It was cold out so we didn't enjoy the porch like we wanted to but it was a great place to stay! We were kept busy the whole time we were there!

Beautiful, Convenient and Spacious

We loved the area: convenient to Azalea Park, Downtown Shops and Restaurants! We also loved the spaciousness and coziness of the house. The only thing I would suggest is to add blinds to the kitchen and front rooms windows! I would recommend it to family and friends!

We thoroughly enjoyed this lovely home nestled in a beautiful historic neighborhood. It was our home base for a long weekend celebrating our youngest child’s 30th birthday by touring Charleston. Tranquil and yet convenient.

A gem in Summerville.

We had a wedding celebration that brought us to Summerville and needed a home to accommodate my parents (in their 80’s) and my husband and I. The house was perfect! Comfortably appointed and laid out and so close to the event. My aunt and uncle that flew in from MN came over every day from their hotel and we all took walks together. It is in such a beautiful neighborhood. We found ourselves visiting for hours on the side porch or in the TV room off of the kitchen. Having two rooms on the first floor was important. As my dad is not great on stairs anymore. We will definitely stay there again! Tucked away feeling, yet close to everything. So perfect!!! Thank you Jane!!

Quiet Escape

We were in town for a wedding and needed a place to stay for the weekend. I selected this home because it had plenty of rooms and bathrooms but it had so much more! It was beautiful both inside and out! It was clean, spacious, and so relaxing! Coming back to this space after a long wedding day was exactly what we needed! This space is in a quiet neighborhood that is perfect for just enjoying each other’s company! We would definitely stay here again!

Great location and community approximately 30 mins From Charleston SC I stayed with 4 of my college girl friends. Beautifully furnished 3 full baths were a real extra. 2 on main floor with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath and 2 twin beds upstairs. Enjoyed Coffee on the porch each morning and card games each night in dining room, An earlier review said the stairs were steep I totally disagree the stairs were wide and well lit. Easy to find home lots of parking. Will stay there again. Great place for adult gathering.

Historic Gem

This home is beautiful! Nestled in a beautiful little community along a tree lined street. This old house sheltered us from a storm allowing us to feel completely safe as the weather outside raged. We enjoyed several evening sitting out on the front porch just taking in the beauty of the area. It is also located very close to the downtown area that has lots of neat shops and things to do. Ms Jane was a pleasure to deal with on anything we had a question about. I highly recommend! On a side note, these were some of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in at a rental property!

Tall Beds

This home is lovely. We really enjoyed all the sitting space. The patio is wonderful to sit and listen to the birds. All the rooms are spacious and very well decorated. The only problem we had (and that is because there were two 80-year-olds and one 90-year-old) was the beds. The Master and one bedroom downstairs are VERY High. The Master had steps going up to the bed. The twin beds were regular height, but the stairs are small and steep. The host lives next door and she checked in with us to make sure we were ok and offered to bring in a blow up mattress for us. She is very considerate. I definitely would rent again from this lady.

Wonderful updated home

We loved our stay here. We are 3 ladies looking for comfort, quiet and close to stores. This house is all that, plus it has hummingbirds. Lovely porch to sit and watch the birds, read and drink coffee. Beds are tall and comfortable. Bathrooms have plenty of towels and amenities. Kitchen is well equipped. Fridge is huge. Plenty of room for anything you want to stock up on. Furniture is very comfortable and in great shape. The thing we liked best is the 100 year old original hardwood floors. Gorgeous. The stairs up to the attic room are fairly steep. Perfect twin bed room for a couple of people who want privacy from the rest of the house. Hosts are nearby. They responded quickly to all questions. This is a completely remodeled and up to date older home. It was just delightful and charming. We will definitely put this house at the top of our list for next time.

Why they chose this property

My husband and I used to walk by this area downtown Summerville and both agreed it was our favorite street. One day we saw a for sale sign and the rest is history. We still love this street and neighbors and we think you will too.

What makes this property unique

We moved this over110 year old home from down the street, put it on our lot and remodeled it. It has imperfections but loads of charm.
