Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy
Think twice.
Good: New Orleans is a great area with lots of character. Record player was cool decoration. The house was large and fit our group size wise. It’s an older home which I understand. I believe it to be a work in progress. The space is large.
Bad:
Multiple issues with the property. The house number is off by 2 numbers from what the ad shows. The photo is of the back door not front of house. That made it difficult to find.
Biggest complaint is no hot water downstairs. Owner instructed us to check breaker box which we did the evening before when we discovered many of the light switches were not working.
Bathroom downstairs doesn’t flush good
No curtains - too much light for sleeping
General cleaning
Furniture uncomfortable and not much there for seating large group in living room.
I requested at least partial refund but owner refused. Case is still open.
How the owner is processing an insurance claim for items that were not under our control.
Overall:
Once owner fixes things then it will be better. Think twice before staying here until everything is worked out.
