This property was very nicely decorated, very neat and clean and had a beautiful porch that looked out over the river. We really enjoyed our stay in this location.
We had a really nice time in this home. It’s super clean and has everything you would ever need. Beds are comfortable and the dock on the river was our favorite spot to have a coffee in the morning. Thank you for sharing with us!
The house was perfect for our weekend getaway with friends. The screened porch was a great place to hang out with a view of the river.
We thoroughly enjoyed our mini vacation at New Bern Waterfront Sunset.
We had such a great time relaxing and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. All of the amenities the house had to offer made the trip feel like home. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality and beautiful home.
Had a great time hanging out, literally sitting on the dock and fishing. Place was awesome! Only thing missing was a propane grill as we wanted to grill some steaks!
What a great place to stay. We spent most of our time sitting on the back porch that overlooks the river. The location is quiet and peaceful. House is very clean. One thing to note however, the address of the house in your GPS should be selected as Bridgeton not New Bern.
Nothing beats sitting on the dock and watching the sun set across the Neuse from downtown New Bern. Beautiful views and can hear the live music carrying across the water. Beautiful property too, with everything you need for a perfect stay.
This is a beautiful home in the New Bern area. We were in town over Thanksgiving weekend and got to enjoy a lot of the area and the beautiful water front property. Would definitely recommend it to others.
I rented this house because my daughter was getting married in New Bern. This house was perfect for our purposes. I was able to host a bridesmaid brunch with ease. There was plenty of room for everyone and the kitchen was set up perfect for hosting guests. A lot nice convince items such as coffee, condiments and much more. This was a great experience and the nicest place I have ever rented.
We could not have been happier with not only the location and the view, but the amenities that were provided to us as a family. The decor is fabulous. The beds are comfortable and the simple pleasures like being provided K Cups, packets of oatmeal for breakfast and some chips to welcome you. Everything was great and we will look to book again when we return.
Thank you
This house was super clean and had a fantastic view of the Neuse. In the warmer months I can definitely see renting a boat for the stay and using the dock. A few things that I think would go a long way: a comfy couch in the living room to just look out at the river and watch TV. There wasn't a TV in the Master so there wasn't anywhere comfy to just chill and watch TV. The most bizarre comment is the house has a rock to it. We felt it the most in the main level master and bathroom. It was a little unnerving and what I would imagine maybe what it feels like being on a cruise ship. My daughter could feel this upstairs in the queen bedroom as well. Overall it's a great house with a few quirks. The town was small and quaint everyone was friendly. Also the welcome gift was a super sweet touch that was some of the best sourdough I've had!
High-end home, quiet neighborhood on the Neuse River
Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Quiet neighborhood. Easy access to New Bern. Bonus was whole-house reverse osmosis water filter. Took part in awesome golfing at the beautiful Carolina Colours 18 hole course. Trips south to the beach at Fort Macon State Park and dolphin and wild horse cruise with the Crystal Lady. Great access to organic foods at local Harris Teeter grocery stores and Living Well health store. Swimming off private pier. We had a lovely stay. Would highly recommend!
