Playa Coronado Dream Hoise
The house was lovely and exactly as presented. The backyard is truly spectacular, and we used the wet bar and barbeque often, especially when we hosted a few guests. The bedrooms were cozy, the beds were comfortable, and the showers and bath products were high end.The kitchen was reasonably well-stocked, and even had some spices. The water dispenser was appreciated, as was having 5 ice trays!The area has lots to offer, from huge grocery stores, shops, restaurants and beaches (note: there is no shade on the beaches) to beautiful national parks, and hiking (moderate to terrifying). The area provides whatever you are interested in.We would highly recommend renting a car. The property has a covered car park to keep it from melting.It should be noted that the pool is quite warm and provided only minimal relief from the heat. On hot, windless days, it was necessary to use the outdoor shower, and blast the shaded patio area with multiple fans. Only the bedtooms have a/c.There were two issues while we were there, neither of which the owners have the ability to address. Firstly, there was a bad algae outbreak in the pool that took four days to address. This surprised us, as the pool is carefully tended to once or twice a week (we identified the problem). The second issue was that the house ran out of water on our second last day.
