Welcome to the House on Cora! - A delightful Hill Country retreat in the heart of Fredericksburg, Texas! This charming property offers not one, but two houses – the main house and the casita – providing the perfect getaway for up to 10 guests. During your stay, you'll have full access to both structures, ensuring a spacious and comfortable stay for everyone in your group.

The Space:
The main house is designed to accommodate your needs with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, featuring a total of 5 cozy beds. Note, there is a trundle bed in the living room that pulls out to create the 2 single beds. The main house also features a spacious living room with a TV and a fully equipped kitchen to share memorable dining experiences with your loved ones.

In the casita, it's a pretty open concept. You'll find a convenient kitchenette, a private bathroom. As well as a queen sized bed, a breakfast table and a TV with some cozy chairs to kick back and relax. You'll also have access to your own carport for parking your vehicles.

Step outside to the fully fenced backyard, a private oasis where you can unwind and enjoy the Hill Country atmosphere. The private patio offers a peaceful retreat for morning coffee or evening conversations. For the ultimate relaxation, indulge in the inviting hot tub, soothing away any worries, or sway in the hammock as you immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature.

One of the biggest highlights of the house is the central location, situated just 3 blocks away from Main Street. Explore the vibrant local scene, from quaint shops to delectable restaurants, and immerse yourself in the authentic Texan experience.

Other Things to Note:
Also, please note we have routine spa maintenance scheduled midweek. Typically, maintenance will take roughly 15 minutes, and the spa will be available for use after the service is completed.

Also note, that the casita (bedroom 4) is a detached structure from the main house.

If you're considering bringing a furry friend along, kindly be aware we do have a $50 pet fee per pet. Please remember to inform us in advance if you plan to bring a pet.

What a gem!

We had such a fantastic stay at Cora! The house was perfect for our group of six adults—spacious, comfortable, and even better than the pictures. The location was excellent, very walkable to town with plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. We especially loved the hot tub and spending our mornings sipping coffee on the porch. Everything was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Highly recommend! I would definitely book this house again if my travels bring me back to the area!

House on Cora was perfect for a few days shopping & wine tasting get away. Distance to Main Street was just a couple blocks walk and very doable. The house was clean and well appointed. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Exceptional service and a great location with lots of parking

We were in town for Octoberfest - an annual tradition for over 12 years, and this rental was by far one of the best places we've stayed! The location is perfect—close to everything we needed, yet tucked away enough to provide a peaceful and relaxing retreat. The house was incredibly comfortable, and the attention to detail made it feel like a home away from home. The service from our host was exceptional, ensuring our stay was seamless from start to finish. Beautiful, comfortable home away from home.

Very comfortable, updated older home close to the historic downtown. The sheets were sooo soft (not semi stiff like hotels) that contributed to restful nights. Fenced backyard was nice for our older four legged girls. We ate out but kitchen was nice for morning coffee and tea.

Beautiful and spacious property.

I took my daughter and six of her friends to Fredricksburg for her birthday. We stayed at House on Cora Street. It is the perfect place for a larger group. Amazingly spacious, very clean and well appointed. Walking distance to town was a huge bonus!

Perfect Getaway Spot!

My husband and I booked this place with our parents as a time for everyone to get to know each other better. We were married in November, six weeks after we met, so our families hadn't had a chance to really get to know each other as well as we would have liked. This was a great place to accomplish that. We enjoyed the simplicity of the decorations, the big table in the middle was perfect to play games at, the location is so close to everything on the mains street, and the backyard was great for the dogs. We very much enjoyed our time here! Also, the handle on the toilet in the master bedroom broke while we were there and the owner was super responsive and got someone over to fix it in no time.

The house on Cora was as nice As any place I’ve ever stayed. My bed and pillows were so comfortable. Every detail of the furnishings were beautiful and we were completely comfortable. My daughter slept in the Casita and loved everything about that as well. It was a very pleasant experience.

Great for bigger families

We are a bigger family and so finding a place for us can be a challenge at times. This home gave everyone their own bed. The separate casita was great for when my husband and I wanted to get up early for coffee and conversation without waking up or being interrupted by kids, but loved the peace of mind we were still close by. The home has lots of character and they even had a working record player. It was fun introducing the kids to the original ways of listening to music. Perfect location to Main Street! Just off the busy roads to be quiet and walking distance to everything. Will definitely recommend and book again in the future.

Hill Country getaway

The hot tub does not work. What is pictured in the photos is not the hot tub that is advertised. So if this is important to you I would look at other options. The hot tub is dirty, jets do not work and overall in bad condition. Everything else was just ok. I wish the house manager would of reach out to us prior to our stay knowing that the hot tub was not working.
