Relax on the lagoon in this modern, high end cottage. This waterfront with two bedrooms with king size beds and two baths is the perfect getaway for families and couples. Fully stocked and only a five minute walk from the beach, this property is a must see!
This cottage can comfortably accommodate 4 guests. The master bedroom features a king size bed with direct access to one deck overlooking the lagoon. The second bedroom also has a king size bed.
This cottage features top of line appliances and furniture. The kitchen is complete with stainless steel, profile GE appliances, and full service for 8. The bathrooms are brightly tiled with a rainfall shower-head in MB.
Outside of the cottage, enjoy the lagoon views from either of the two private decks. The beach is only a five minute walk from the cottage, and the community pool is even closer. Tennis courts are available for use for a fee. Cougar Point Golf Course is located across the street. It provides a beautiful landscape for interested golfers or a place to enjoy a cocktail or coffee at the clubhouse overlooking the 18th hole.
With inexpensive direct flights from New York, Chicago, and Houston, and only 30 minutes from Charleston, this is a perfect location for long weekends any time of year. Hello! My name is Ian. I grew up in rural New Jersey, and graduated from Princeton University in 2006. I currently live in New York City (when I'm not lucky enough to be in Kiawah!) and work in the natural gas business. I love scuba diving, fishing, cooking, and bumming around on the beach. Fortunately, I can do all of those things here!
Why they chose this property
My family has been vacationing on Kiawah Island for about 25 years. We loved it so much that we wanted a place to call our own. Of all the places we've been, no other soothes the body and soul like Kiawah. With quiet, award winning beaches, scenic bike paths, and beautiful golf courses, Kiawah is the perfect place to unwind.
What makes this property unique
This property and location have been designed for families or couples to relax. If you are looking for big box retail, chain restaurants, and loud bars across the street, this is not the place for you. If you want to spend your afternoons on the beach, ride your bikes over miles of quiet trails, and watch dolphins feeding at the shore, this is definitely the place for you.
