Attractive three bedroom, one and a half bath home, newly remodeled, delightfully decorated with very nice and newer comfortable furnishings. It has Central Air, Fully furnished kitchen,(sorry, no dishwasher) Washer & Dryer, Charter Hi Speed Internet, Netflix, Charter cableTV,DVD/VCR, private gated backyard with large dinning table center fire table with chairs under a patio sunscreened umbrella, loungers, and large stainless gas grill. Perfect getaway for a vacation.

Nearby are Michigan Adventure Park, golf courses, restaurants and 2 shopping malls. Truly an affordable, enjoyable vacation getaway to relax, rest and have fun!
Our Cottage is registered with the City of Grand Haven and we have our permits and inspections up to date and available for your review.

Grand Haven

The house was smaller than could be appreciated in the pictures and the floor plan was a bit odd. Basement bedrooms are cold but there is an electric fireplace. All in all well worth it given the location near the waterfront. The backyard was quite interesting but unfortunately we didn't have time to use it to its fullest.

Perfect Property!

What a fun find for our weekend in Grand Haven! We enjoyed walking for ice cream and enjoying downtown both nights. The cottage is quaint and very nicely restored with modern necessities. Lots of blankets and linens. The backyard swings and seating area was a great place to relax. Thank

Amazing place and host!

The stay from start to finish was flawless - cute and ornate cottage filled with character around every corner. It's a prime location near the waterfront with a phenomenal backyard. The host is supper communicative and there to help with anything that may pop up during booking through checkout. 10/10 recommend!

Cozy Cottage lives up to its name

Easy check in. Cottage was very clean and charming, plenty of room for our family. Love how close it is to so many attractions! The house is full of amenities, almost everything you could think of. The backyard is amazing! We would definitely stay here again!

Grand Haven charm

Wonderful rental with all amenities. Great location to it all..Beach , shopping, restaurants, marinas, and the musical fountain. House is wonderfully updated with a gorgeous firepit table and gazebo.

Salmon Fishing

We really enjoyed staying at this property. The location is great and we enjoyed the outdoor seating area. Unfortunately our river salmon fishing was a bust - too early for the run, but we had a great time anyway.

Wonderful Time

Cottage Charm is a delightful place to stay. Each of the rooms was well decorated with updated finishings. Everything was clean. Kitchen was well-stocked. WiFi was great and easy to connect to. Backyard and grill were used a lot. Just blocks from everything. Neighbors were very friendly too. Definitely would stay again. Only suggestion might be a dehumidifier for basement. Not a significant issue by any means but would improve lower rooms for allergy suffers.

A Grand Haven

Nice classic old-style home with updated features. Great location for a short walk to harbor or stroll downtown. Was perfect for our family with two teenage sons. I would definitely stay here in the future whenever we are back visiting Grand Haven. Just a quick update- photos show a coffee pot however they have added a Keurig Machine- just in case you want to bring along your favorite K-Cups.

Perfect for us

This property was perfect for us (a retired couple). More room than we needed (there are 3 bedrooms, sleeps 8 max). Quaint architecture, very cute cottage. Everything worked. Jerad was very accommodating and easy to work with. We have been vacationing in Grand Haven for over 30 years, and this property is one of the best we've stayed in - better than most of the fancier condos we've rented in the past. Centrally located, quiet - everything we could have asked for. We have told friends about this place, and we will visit again!

Clean and convenient

Cottage was nice and clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Location was great for an easy walk to all activities in downtown and along the river front. Jared was great to work with and easy to contact when we had a question.

A charming cottage with everything we needed. Great location to the center of town.

The minute we walked in, we felt right at home. Every room was clean, comfortable and well supplied. Intimate back yard for morning coffee or evening cocktails. Walking distance to center of town, the river harbor, lighthouse and great dining. Jerad accommodated all of our needs and requests. Great cooking kitchen with all we needed for utensils and cooking pots and pans. 4 TV's available for individual viewing tastes. Loved, loved, loved this place!

Nice home and very close to downtown!

We stayed over Labor Day weekend and really enjoyed our time in Grand Haven. This house is small but has a great layout and a very nice use of space. The master bedroom is on the main floor. The lower level has two bedrooms and this worked great for our teen children because lots of privacy and we could not hear them at all! This house is great for older kids and probably good for young children as it would be very quiet for sleeping (away from main level). It only has one shower so you must share that- the bath downstairs does not have a shower. The laundry was very convenient and owner provided laundry soap which was so nice. The home is walking distance to downtown. Owner provided bikes and we used them to get to the beach and just to tour the area. The parking is a little tight but there are 2 spots so that was great! The owner is super nice to work with and very prompt on answering my questions.

Excellent all around!

Perfect Family Fit

We just stayed at Cottage Charm for a long Labor Day weekend. This was our second stay at this absolutely awesome cottage. The owner takes pride in continually updating the property. The cottage is very clean, roomy, and comfortable! Location is hard to beat, being about 3 blocks from shopping and a very walkable distance to about everything. Example: Now we like to walk, but we walked to the Beach & Lighthouse and back from the cottage twice on Sunday! We will stay at Cottage Charm again! We have stayed in several places in Grand Haven in past years, but we have found the place for us at Cottage Charm!

Having been part of Grand Haven's Wonderful Summers for years and years, (just can't seem to get enough of it.) and Long before we purchased our cottage ,we would walk from the Marina to downtown shopping and restaurants and pass by "Cottage Charm" on the way secretly wishing to stay in such a Charming Cottage (hence the name) We haven't been able to retire quite yet in this beautiful town of Grand Haven but until then , you can rent Cottage Charm and see for yourself how special it is.

Why they chose this property

When this property became available it was a dream come true. It is literally close to most everything for the Summer Vacationer, and just far away enough to escape the Noise of the Traffic and the Sand in your britches. You can hear musical fountain from the property most nights and even people watch on the front porch as they stroll past coming to and fro the downtown events.

What makes this property unique

We are only two blocks away from most things. The trollies at chinook pier run several times a day and can take you to the State Park or to the Beach. Or how about less than a three minute walk to Central Park where they have Live music on Tuesday nights or an occasional wedding on the weekend ,or four minutes to the Library , or Lucy's Deli . Or walk across the street and get your hair done. We are close folks, and we supply most things ,paper products,linens, towels, ( but not beach towels) even baggies.
