Black Stone is fantastically unique with a sleek yet simple modern contemporary elegance while maintaining that Mountain Vibe. As you watch the snow drift softly down, we can't think of a better place to be than snuggled up beside the real wood-burning fireplace that's set into a solid black quartz stone wall. The perfect space for family and Friends to gather for a game of cards or a good movie or sports on the 75" flatscreen smart tv. Slip into the nook with vintage desk and cool pixel light for your writing and typing. Embark on culinary delights in the fully equipped kitchen, complete with round reclaimed wood dining table (from an episode of our HGTV Building Roots) capable of seating up to 8. Gourmet Nespresso coffee station is stocked with delicious flavors. Enjoy a cook to table experience with open french doors leading to the covered deck with Weber gas grill. The gourmet chef stocked kitchen has just about everything imaginable from hand made stoneware dishes and all clad copper core cookware to digital rice cooker, William Sonoma fondue pot, Kitchen Aid stand mixer and even an ice cream maker. Beautiful and a well equipped Kitchen

We brought ingredients for multi course dinners and great wine. The kitchen and grill were well equipped and it made for a wonderful ski trip. Great place to stay if you are planning to cook!

Wonderful place!

We really loved our stay. The condo is beautifully decorated and beds are very comfortable. Kitchen is stocked so well compared to many rentals and the coffee/tea bar is a really nice touch as was the welcome bottle of wine. Lots of nice extras! Thank you!

Fall Getaway

We very much enjoyed our stay at this unique property overlooking Hatcher Lake. The amenities were top notch! Wishing we had more time to stay there. Beds were very comfortable too. We highly recommend this property for a visit in Pagosa Springs any season.

Peaceful getaway on the lake

Property was very comfortable in every way and has the perfect views of Hatcher Lake. Kitchen is fully stocked with very hi-end everything! All linens are hi-quality. There were no shortcuts in this property. Owner is super nice and communicative. Enjoyed the outdoor chair swing and other amenities. I cannot say enough good about this place. Will definitely stay again!

Cozy spot with the best view!!

Our stay was incredible! The house was perfect, great view, great location! Kimberly had the best recommendations and was very responsive if needed anything! I can tell by staying a week in the house that Kimberly thought everything through for the perfect vacay. Making coffee at the coffee bar and then taking it to drink on the balcony overlooking the lake and mountains was our favorite! We can’t wait to return!!

Excellent quiet location

The property was beautiful and clean with more amenities than any other VRBO that we have stayed at. The Lakeview is absolutely peaceful and the sunsets are beautiful. We had the pleasure of meeting the neighbors and they were very kind and welcoming. The communication with the property was excellent. The Bedding and towels for top quality. I would highly recommend this property and I look forward to staying here again.

Dream vacation

Perfect Week Away

We feel so lucky to have found this fantastic property on the lakefront to Hatcher Lake near Pagosa Springs. From the moment we stepped in, we felt welcomed. We were greeted with a friendly note, stocked amenities and amazing views. The neighbors were kind and lovey and helped us navigate our five days in the area to special spots to see and trails that would work for our kids and our dogs. Our dogs are so important to us, and getting to have them be part of this trip was so wonderful. Our host was easy to communicate with and quick to reply. We have so much more to explore in the area and hope to make this an annual trip for us.

Winter Retreat

My family and I had a fantastic trip to Pagosa Springs and the lake retreat home. Everything about this house was even more impressive than captured in the pictures and the host was more than accommodating to anything we needed, she even delivered fresh made cookies! The location is perfect for relaxing just walking the neighborhood, but has great sledding nearby and is only 15 minutes to town. Not a bad thing to say about the location, views, or home! We definitely would plan to stay again and/or recommend to others.

Great Getaway

The house, amenities, and location are beyond 5 stars, so wonderful. Excellent place to stay, especially if you love fishing. FYI if you have a dog, the neighbor has a very dog-aggressive cat. The neighbor (very nice lady) warned us the cat has attacked other peoples dogs when we got there and so we were very anxious to have our dog outside with us, and did have one run-in but we were able to keep our dog safe. Property has really high end amenities and the coffee bar is awesome.

Anniversary

This was an excellent place to stay. Beautiful lake and mountain view. Deer in the yard. Ducks in the lake. Just an overall peaceful place. This condo comes with everything you could possibly need on a vacation and then some. It is really beautiful. The only thing is the description says AC and there is not,but the weather was nice enough to open the windows and you didn't get hot. I would totally stay there again.

And then some

I can’t tell you how amazing our stay was. This was by far the best experience we’ve had. There was so much that was provided to us that I would’ve never expected. Not only was it provided but it was all top of the line items. Full size shampoo/conditioner/ lotion, amazing assortment of cooking appliances and spices, the overall feel of the home itself. I could keep going but I think I’ve expressed my point. The view is breathtaking and so close to so many amazing hiking trails and far enough away from town that you feel like you’re in the mountains on a retreat. It allowed us to disconnect from electronics and connect as a family. If we ever get an opportunity to make it back to Pagosa Springs we will definitely be staying here again!!

Hi we're originally from Florida having moved to Pagosa over 20 years ago. We came here for a quality of life that we couldn't find anywhere else. We love everything that Pagosa has to offer... Paddle boarding, biking, hiking, skiing, Hot Springs, and getting on the side by sides. I've always loved doing things for others that makes them happy and come from the hospitality background so this came very naturally. I truly have a passion for sharing what I've created with others to enjoy. Working so much myself I understand the need for a true vacation. When I travel I really do like my comforts but they have to be combined with the finer things also for my interest.

Why they chose this property

We chose this location because of it's lakefront location and is easily accessible to everything in uptown Pagosa yet with has the feeling of being in the mountains as you came here for. Access to the National Forrest is close by and provides opportunity for many outdoor activities.

What makes this property unique

Wow what makes this property unique? I don't know if there's enough space to share what I want. Water front properties are not easy to come by, waterfront with your own private peninsula is even harder to come by. This vintage mountain cabin had its charming roots preserved while we complemented it by incorporating modern-day conveniences and luxuries. You won't find one single place in Pagosa that compares to Black Stone Mountain Waters.
