The location was ideal for our family activities--only five minutes from the zoo and Botanical Gardens and in a quiet, residential neighborhood. It was stocked with everything we needed. The furnishings felt very cheap and like we were in a Motel 6, though the memory foam mattresses were comfortable. For example, the screen door fell off when we went into the backyard and our two-year old climbed onto a living room chair, stood up, and it tipped over backwards, giving her a bad scare. The cute putting green in the backyard was cluttered with little rocks and there were cigarette butts and scraps of paper all around the backyard. It is such a great location and house in general, so with a little TLC and upgraded fixtures it could be great. Also, I was very nervous as we were 11 miles out from the rental house and had not received any check-in instructions. I texted and called Rebecca, the property manager, and she responded immediately with the door code. However, it would have been nicer to know when and how I would be receiving access information to the house so I wasn't sweating it.
