The is the best 1 bedroom unit in the most upscale condominium complex at Snowshoe, Soaring Eagle Lodge. Great Ski in Ski out

We had a great stay at this location. Very clean little condo. Three hot tubs right on the side of the mountain. Beautiful views. The management staff is super responsive. Nice access right to the lift and some nice little runs or take the traverse right over to the main base of snowshoe. I would recommend bringing groceries if you plan to cook. That's what we did and I'm so glad because there is not grocery store near by.

Nice but odd as well. Huge bathroom with storage but didn’t find extra towels til last day in coffee table?! Also only 1 bar of soap? Also A bit loud as it’s close to elevators. Otherwise nice and well appointed

Great location. Underground parking is nice. The challenges you read about the check in process are accurate. Have to go to Allegany Springs lobby to check in. They didn’t have the reservation in their system. Had to call VRBO customer service. They resolved it. Key worked for the door but not the elevators or other access points in the building. Had to go to a different bldg to reprogram the keys. Place is otherwise nice and the prop mgr was quick to respond once we checked in.

Lodge was quiet and nice and convenient to the Soaring Eagle lift. Communication was lacking with use of lockers. The facility is located great for skiing; however, somewhat convenient in having to ride (sometimes a very crowded) bus to the center of the village.

Beautiful views

We’ve stayed at Soaring eagle multiple times and this unit has great views and everything we needed for our stay. The pullout sofa was very comfortable for our teenage boys, will definitely stay again!

We loved the location, the stunning lodge, clean, well-appointed condo w an eastern view of the mountains, the outdoor hot tub and friendliness of the manager and guests. It is also a plus to have garage parking and a ski locker. The check-in was a little difficult and we didn’t get the code to the ski locker right away because it was the property manager’s day off when we arrived. However, the owner was very responsive and we were in the condo and settling in within the hour. We will be back!

Bring your own soap and paper towels!

Sinks and tubs didn’t drain. We had to look for dishes. Finally found them - still dirty in the dish washer. Crumbs on the counter tops. Hair on shower wall. Kitchen towels had foul odor. TV only worked part of the time. The smallest bar of soap for a 5 day stay at top dollar rates. No paper towels. No coffee. Our expectation was at least what we’d have at a hotel - although this was more expensive. On the positive side - Steven the concierge was awesome. The views and hot tubs were great. Loved the parking garage and ski in ski out. The bed was comfortable. We thought the lodge had a spot to grab a coffee or drink but it doesn’t.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this condo and snowshoe. We will definitely be back. The condo was nice and clean and very comfy. Probably one of the best trips we have had. Highly recommended.

No response or support during stay

Property was good. No one available for check in, contrary to as stated in email. No response to phone calls or emails during stay. Neighboring resort gave me key card to get into facility. No one from Soaring Eagle property was at the resort other than housekeeping. No working TV remote. Horrible Check in experience during freezing temperatures and snow falling on mountain top. Snowmobile and horse riding booked months in advance and are not available. Never again will I go here.

Great condo, clunky check-in

The condo is beautiful and spacious, like most condos at Soaring Eagle. The check-in process was not smooth or well-thought-out. The concierge was only present on Friday and Saturday evenings. However, the owner was excellent with communication. He/she salvaged a potentially disappointing stay. VRBO rentals are generally not perfect, so having an owner with good communication is critical. I would certainly stay there again.

Lovely condo

This condo is immaculate and well furnished. The kitchen and bathroom had nice improvements such as upscale faucets. The bed was very comfortable. The indoor parking is extremely convenient, especially when it gets icy and frigid on the mountain. Great value in Snowshoe!

Skiing with my Son

I've stayed at Soaring Eagle many times and always look for availability at this property when booking my trip to Snowshoe. This is the first time in unit 409 and it was very nice and the underground heated parking is awesome! Highly recommend to anyone looking for upscale accommodations.

Nice top floor condo at Soaring Eagle. Clean, as described. Check-in was slightly delayed. Owner needs to update checkin procedure after booking. You can’t get access to unit through check-in at top of the world. Overall great stay - we will be back! Thank you!
