About the host

Hosted by Alex Johnson

Host profile image
My young family lives in Fremont Michigan about an hour south of the cottage, which makes it a perfect close getaway. I really give guests an opportunity to stay at our cottage to give them a unique experience to enjoy a small slice of the Big Sauble River that has very little public access.

Why they chose this property

The Cottage is in a quiet neighborhood with a few year-round residences but mostly vacation homes or weekend warrior cabin owners. We ask that you be respectful to our neighbors and keep a reasonable volume in the evening as we hope you spend a good amount of time outdoors at the fire pit and on the back deck.

What makes this property unique

Our property is located on top of a hill with large picture windows overlooking the river and you can also step out onto the deck to listen to the river flow.
