Amazing View, Disappointing Interaction and Questionable Safety
Some reviewers have commented on the drive up to the house. The owner appropriately notes in the listing that the drive may be challenging for some drivers, but experienced drivers should find it manageable.That said, my clients raised concerns about the house itself, specifically regarding safety. The shower is equipped with a Mini Marey water heater, which is plugged into an outlet just a few inches from the shower head. This is contrary to the manufacturer's instructions, which recommend the heater be positioned at least "3.5 feet away from the shower area". My clients would not risk taking showers in this house. The views are nice, but not to die for. Additionally, a doorbell button operator located by the sink is connected directly to the electrical panel, with visible wiring on the wall. While this setup may comply with local standards, it does not align with the US National Electrical Code.Other photos shared by my clients showed battery-powered smoke detectors without batteries, stored together on top of the refrigerator. The overall decor was described as somewhat dated and in need of refreshing.On a more positive note, the pool was a pleasant feature, though it was warmer than expected, making it less refreshing during the day but potentially enjoyable on cooler
